I closed my eyes, waiting for the final blow.
Suddenly the door swung open. "Hidan! What do you think you're doing?"
Hidan looks towards the door and rolls his eyes. "What the hell does it fucking look like? I'm making a fucking sacrifice to Jashin, Kakuzu."
"That's not a good idea. You should let her go."
"And why the fuck should I do that?"
"She's going to be our maid and if you kill her, you will punished," said Kakuzu.
"And what the hell does that weak bastard, Pein, plan on doing to me?"
Kakuzu sighs and suddenly lunges towards Hidan, knocking him out of the symbol. I grab my kimono and slide it on, limping out the door as fast as I could. I hurry down the hall, looking backwards to make sure he wasn't behind me. As soon as I turned around, I ran into someone. "I-I'm so sorry!" I back up and look up and into the legendary Rinnegan eyes.
"What happened to you?" The man with the Rinnegan asked. He had spiky auburn hair and several piercings. He was looking behind me at the thin trail of blood leading to me.
"It was a man. He had silver hair and I think his name is Hidan," I explain quickly.
"I should've known." He grabs my wrist, pulling me back towards the infirmary.
"What are you doing? He's going to kill me!"
He opens the door and glares at Hidan and Kakuzu as they fight. "Would you two please quit it? Hidan, get out of the infirmary."
"I need to kill her! Its against my religion to leave her alive!" Hidan shouted.
"Hidan, get out. NOW!" Rinnegan boomed.
"What the fuck ever..." Hidan mumbles, pushing him aside forcefully and leaving the room.
"Okay, so what's your name?" The auburn haired one asked me.
"M-my name is Akahana," I say.
"Well, I'm Pein. This is Kakuzu. You're obviously in pain right now from Hidan so just show Kakuzu where he hurt you and he'll try to fix you up."
I look down, embarrassed.
"Akahana, you're going to have to show me where he hurt you if you want my help," Kakuzu grumbles.
I nervously open my kimono, revealing my wounded torso. I looked away from the two men, feeling awkward and embarrassed about my situation.
It was silent for a few minutes. Finally I heard Kakuzu speak up. "...I can take care of that." Kakuzu motions for me to lay on the cot and I oblige.
"I trust you've got this handled, right?" Pein asks, trying to avert his eyes from my chest.
"Yes. I'm just concerned with how much money it's gonna cost to replace all the antiseptics I'll need to use on her..."
"Antiseptics don't cost much. Besides, there's plenty of it. This infirmary is overstocked with medical supplies," Pein explains.
Kakuzu sighs. "Fine. I'll take care of it. But tell my idiot of a partner to quit trying to sacrifice everything that moves!"
Pein nods and walks out of the room, shutting the door behind him. Kakuzu digs around in the cabinets and gets out some isopropyl alcohol and a washcloth. "Now, hold still," Kakuzu orders, soaking the washcloth with alcohol. He gently touches the washcloth to the cut on my face, and I hiss in response, the alcohol burning my cut and pain searing through my body. He disregards my pain and continues to rub the alcohol into my flesh until he finishes. Next was the cut between my breasts. Kakuzu cleaned it gingerly and tried as best as he could to avoid contact with my breasts. Although he was hardly putting pressure on it, the cut still burned and I was trying my best to hold back whimpers and yelps. After he finished cleaning that cut, he moved to the shallow stabs that Hidan made. Finally, Kakuzu finished cleaning my wounds and grabbed the elastic bandage, wrapping it around my torso.
"Are you finished?" I ask.
"No. I am going to bandage your other wounds. They're shallow but could still be dangerous." He grabs some more elastic bandage and wraps my injured leg. "Finished. I am going to inform Pein. You stay here."
I sigh, sitting up slowly. "Sure, okay," I say as I watch him leave. I stand up and pull my kimono to its correct position and wrap it around myself. 'Why are they helping me? I mean, if all they wanted me for was to be their maid, why didn't they just let me die and replace me? It would've been a lot easier...' I contemplate.
My body was burning all over and I knew I probably had a knot on the back of my head from the impact when Hidan pushed me against the wall. I groaned and nervously waited until Kakuzu returned.
When he did, he grabbed my arm and led me out of the room. "I was told to tell you your choices so here they are. You can either work as our personal maid and housekeeper or we let Hidan finish you off. I would personally like it if you became our maid, because those antiseptics I just used on you cost money and it would've been a waste," he explained as he led me down a long hallway and past many doors.
I gulp at the latter and say, "I shall stay. I...I don't wish to die yet."
"Great to hear. Here's your room. You will stay in here until dinner. Pein will send someone to retrieve you. Until then, do what you want." He opens a door to a plain looking room and walks away.
I sigh, walking into the room and closing the door behind me, locking it for extra security though I was sure any one of those men could easily break it down. I took a look at my ripped kimono and groaned. 'Great, what the hell am I supposed to wear?' I thought to myself. I scanned the room but couldn't find any clothes. I shrugged and slid under the covers on the bed and snuggled in. 'Might as well sleep. There doesn't seem to be anything else to do...' I closed my eyes and eventually drifted to sleep.
~{Hey! I just realized that I made a mistake with Hidan's ritual jutsu on the last chapter. I fixed it but... *sigh* I guess didn't do enough research. And I know the doctorish part was kinda lame too. Anyways, sorry!! Hope you enjoyed this shitty, thrown together chapter anyway!}~
