You were conducting an auction with your ex-boyfriend, Jason. You had to throw out the stuff you bought for the house that you both were going to move into. The both of you had a very harsh breakup. You humiliated him in front of a hundred people and you knew he was going to get back at you. Both his and your close friends were at the auction, but mostly his.

One by one you sold off all the furniture at reasonably good prices.

Just then he grabbed you by your hair and said "How much for a date with this beautiful woman?"

"Let go off me, idiot" You spat at him but he ignored you.

"You can't do this to me, jerk" You said again.

"I can definitely do this after what you did to me" He replied.

"50 dollars" One of his friends spoke up, smirking.

"Nah, bidding starts at 100" Jason said.

"Oh I'll give you 101 dollars" His friend said.

"Hahaha okay, she's all yours then" Jason said letting go off you, causing you to fall on the ground.

"I'd say 200" Someone said as everyone's eyes turned towards them. It was Niall, one of Jason's other friends.

"I'd say 250" His other friend said.

"300" Niall replied.

"Ummm 301" His other friend said looking quite unhappy.

"500" Niall announced causing a lot of murmuring in the room.

"I quit" Jason's friend said. Jason gave him a stern look.

"What buddy? I can't afford more than that" His friend said.

"Well, she's all yours then, treat her well" He said with a smirk to Niall. He gave him the money.

"Oh I swear I will" Niall said grabbing your hand and dragging you out of the building. You were surprised at the fact that no one came to your rescue... Maybe all of this was just a trap.

"Please let go off me" You cried trying to get your hand out of Niall's firm grip.

"Oh God, I'm so sorry! Am I hurting you?" He asked you. You thought he was being sarcastic but he was being very serious. You gave him a confused look.

"I don't intend on hurting on you. I was just trying to save you from Jason" He spoke. You remained silent.

"And yeah, you really don't have to go on a date with me" He said.

Then realisation hit you all at once, just like a sledgehammer. (Hint hint , Fifth Harmony :P )

Niall was always there, whenever Jason tried to drag you down (Haha another reference), humiliate you, during all your fights and what not. He always had your back. You just didn't realise because you were blinded by Jason. But you aren't anymore...

"But what if I really want to go on that date with you?" You said passing him a smile.

"Are you sure?" Niall said as a huge smile plastered his face.

"Positive....but" You said as Niall's smile appeared to shrink.

"Not just right away... I just got out of a horrible relationship and I need my space" You said.

"I'll wait for as long as you want" Niall said.

And that very moment you knew that it was the start of a very beautiful relationship, not like your previous ones. Niall was your saviour.

A/N: So.. this took me exactly 30 minutes and 45 seconds to write....

Idk why but I just had to put that out there....
