Luna
I stare at the hologram before me, with no face it doesn't look like anything more than a plain figure. The only thing that holds my attention is the sword in its hand.
All of a sudden, the hologram jumps at me.
I dodge the attack as it swipes its sword at me, and summon my own weapon. I raise my right arm to shield myself from another attack as my sword fully materializes. The long, curved blade is attatched to my right arm, just below my wrist.
Our swords meet, sparks flying, and I jump away, cirlcling the hologram. And then I pounce.
"Agent 51, your presence is required in the Military District, room 500. Reply immediately." My communicator informs me as I am in the middle of training, but I don't loose my focus. I slice through the middle of the hologram, and it freezes, dropping its sword to the ground with a clash."Agent 51, replying to message 6087." I say, pulling the communicator from my waist. I watch as the hologram flinches, then dissipates into the air and my white sword returns to my gem. Walking to the warp pad in the back of the empty training room, I say, "On my way."
Stepping onto the warp pad, it glows. As I imagine the Military District, light envelopes me, and I am warping through space in a tunnel of light.
I land on a new warp pad, and find two huge doors, guarded by two tall figures. Both have orange gems in their chests that I recognize as Citrines, one of the many types of royal guards.
I've never seen this part of the Military District, I think as I walk towards the guards. On the floor is a large, green circle wrapped around a lighter green triangle, with three smaller triangles inside, all pointing downwards. One is yellow, one is blue, and the final one on top is white. The Homeworld insignia.
"State your level and purpose here," one guard says sternly.
"Moonstone, Agent 51, facet five - one. My presence was required in room 500 of the Military District." I inform him.
"Go inside," He says as they step out of the way of the door.
I push the heavy door open, and find a large desk made out of some kind of black gem. It glitters in the light, and I see on the desk is a projection of a star map, full of planets and galaxies. I had been to many planets, from the Crimson Galaxies to the Violet Nebula. Most of them were all the same, just a big ball of rock with no life inhabiting them. We had only found one planet that had sustained life, besides out own, in over six thousand years of exploring the galaxies. Earth, was what it was called, and it contained many species of life. But the main class was humans.
I had studied Earth for more than five years from space, until I finally landed, where I studied every language and religion. I found that Earth was much different from the other planets I had been on. It had a uniqueness I had never seen before.
Because I was an exploration agent, I was one of the first gems to scout out new planets that were recently found or monitor other existing planets that weren't stable enough to become colonies. Very few kinds of gems were allowed this job. They must be strong enough to defend themselves, but also fast, and have to go through extensive training. The only other type I had seen were Marcasites, and occasionally Peridots would check on our work, but they were technicians.
Halting my thoughts, I look at the gem sitting behind the desk, and then I realize who it is.
"My Diamond, I did not realize it was you who had requested my presence."
