"Marcasite, come to the bridge. We are going to be entering Earth's atmosphere." I say into my communicator. A minute later, Marcasite walks into the control room.

"So we are going to be landing soon?" he asks.

"As soon as we make it through the atmosphere. That's the easy part, the other part will be finding a place to finally land. All we can do is hope these gems don't have any advanced technology to alert them that we entered Earth's stratosphere." I look at the clouds sheltering the planet before us, then back at the control panels. "You're going to want to buckle up, this could get a little rocky."

"Ok," He says as he quickly sits down. "If you don't mind me asking, do you think these gems would even have technology like ours? I mean they have been cut off from Homeworld for more than five thousand years."

"As far as we know." I reply simply. He is silent.

Soon I feel a change in the pressure on the ship as we gain speed, getting closer to the Earth's crust by the second. Finally we break through the clouds and are looking at the vast, blue ocean. I see the moon reflecting off of the ocean's surface. We keep descending, until we are so close to the water I could probably touch it if it weren't for the clear panel in front of me.

"Luna?" Marcasite asks worriedly. "We are going to hit the water!"

"Trust me. I know what I am doing." I say.

"Ok," He replies.

I tilt the ship downwards, and dip into the sea. We plunge, into the dark water, going deeper and deeper. Until I find what I am looking for. A large opening in the ocean wall. As we enter it, I swiftly pull up and follow the large tunnel until we break out of the water and find ourselves in a large underwater cave.

I hear Marcasite let out a huge breath, "I thought you were trying to kill us." He says.

I land the Scarlet on a flat area in the cave and shut off the ship's jets. "Come on then, we need to make sure this place is secure." I grab my small bag and head out of the ship with Marcasite following me. The cave is huge, and covered in small crystals all over the walls that have a slight glow to them.

"How did you find this place?" Marcasite asks as he looks around.

"One day while I was swimming, I stumbled upon it." I tell him. "It still looks untouched. We can stay here, make this our base."

"Alright." Marcasite says.

"I'm going to go up onto land to scope out the beach, and then I will be back. I just want to scope out the area." I say as I dig through the bag I brought and take out the keys to the house that I own on the beach and make sure my destabilizer is still clipped to my waist. "You need to stay here."

"What?!" he asks.

"I need you to stay here, incase these gems are more dangerous than we expected. And I won't be gone long. Probably only an hour."

"Alright." He sighs.

"Good." I say as I picture myself in a black water suit, and I feel my clothes take a new form. "If I run into any trouble, I will try to contact you with my communicator if possible. I will be back soon." Then I jump into the water and swim out of the tunnel, and into open water. I start to swim towards land.

I finally make it on to the beach, and find it empty and the air covered in a light fog. Pulling the water out of my suit and hair, I form it into a ball and throw it back into the ocean, drying myself instantly. I lay down in the cool sand, looking at the star filled sky, lit by the crescent moon.
