Chapter 3

I woke up to the door bell ringing. I ran downstairs. I didn't care what I looked like. When I opened the door I saw Jacob. He came in and closed the door. "What the hell happened babe?" I hugged him and cried into his shoulder. "Babe what happened all I know is that you went and Elena told me you were at the nurse."

"Jacob I love you and what happened is I got punched in the face and got knocked unconscious by Bobby Layne. But the first time he hit me I put him on the floor but the second one he knocked me out." I said in between sobs. "Next time I see the son of a b*tch I am going to kill him. But I must have done something right cause you fought back." He gave me a kiss and we went to my room. "So I don't have to be home till 7 and it's only 4 so do you want me to stay here?" I shook my head yes. I turned on the TV and we watched Netflix. I soon closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up Jacob was gone. It was 11:00. It was still another hour before she would be home. All of a sudden I heard something hitting my window. I opened my window and a pebble hit me in the forehead. "Awww!" I screamed. "Keep it down or you will wake the neighbors." said a shadow in the dark. It started to walk toward the street light. It was Damon. I quickly closed my window. I closed my curtains. What is he doing here. What does he want. I told him I needed time. "Lauren you can't ignore me forever. Come on baby girl open the window and let me in. Please? I want to speak to you." "Fine but if you drink my blood I will never forgive you." "I would never hurt you baby girl."

I opened the window and he jumped up in. "What do you want Damon. I don't know what to think right now. I was so upset when you left and I .... I have always loved you and will always love you and knowing that you think of me as a little sister hurts." "Hold on stop stop stop who ever said I love you as a sister I love you as a women. You are beautiful and smart and just plain amazing. The first day I saw you I knew you grow up to be beautiful and I wanted to be with you forever. So I protected you and it hurt like hell when I left." I was speechless. Knowing he loved me more than a sister gave me butterflies in my stomach. "Damon I don't know what to say. But I know one thing I want to say is I love... " Before I finished he gave me a very passionate kiss. I loved it. I couldn't get enough. I wrapped my hands in his hair. When we parted Damon had a smile on his face. "What is it?" I asked. "I've always wanted to do that. Well I have to go but I will see you tomorrow baby girl." "Okay bye." He gave me a quick peck on the cheek and jumped out the window. When he left I fell on the bed and began to laugh. I was so happy. Bit the one thing that ran through my head is that I couldn't keep this from Jacob.
