My Protector

Chapter 6

Damon knocked on the door. I decided to open it. He pulled me into one of his protective hugs. "Why did you leave school early today. Are you hurt I can smell the blood?" he said. I explained everything that happened to him and he got angry but soon he calmed down when I told him Jacob saved me. "Well I may not like Jacob but remind me to thank him. " That kinda put a smile on my face. Damon gave me a passionate long lingering kiss. "I need to go get a shower so you can sit on my bed and watch TV till I get out and don't try to come in please?" I said. "Well there went my plan. I'm just kidding. I love you baby." he had a smirk on his face and I rolled my eyes. He followed me to my room and I hopped in the shower.

When I got the shower I was looking for my clothes but I didn't bring any in. "Sh!t I have to walk out there in a towel and get clothes damn." So I peeked my head out the door and saw Damon wasn't there. "He must be down stairs. Thank heaven." So I walked to my closet opened the doors and walked in grabbed a black sports bra, black tank top, shorts, and underwear. I put on my clothes but before I could put my shorts on the door to my room opened. I heard footsteps walking to my closet door. So I hid in between my clothes. "Lauren are you in here." I didn't know what he would do if I said yeah, so I kept quiet. When I heard him leave I slipped on my shorts and went to find him. He was at the end of the stairs. I ran down the stairs and was going to jump on his back but, with his super hearing he heard me coming and turned around and caught me. "Well there went that idea." He giggled it was cute. I gave him a peck on the lips and he cared me to my room bridal style. It was sweet.

We watched Netflix all night long until I fell asleep. My mom wouldn't be home until Monday and it was Friday and my brother was staying at Adam's house all weekend. So I had the house all to myself well including Damon. My parents were divorced so I never saw my dad. When I woke up Damon was gone. I got out my bed and it was warm in the house so I opened all the windows. The least I could do was save money and not turn the AC on. BOOM. I ran down the stairs and Damon was cooking breakfast. "And he cooks huh? " "As you can tell I made a mess but here's your pancakes." he said. I burst in to a fit of laughter. As I walked to the counter I didn't realize the egg on the floor. I slipped and went tumbling to the floor but before I hit Damon used his super speed and rushed to catch me. "Thanks." he nodded and we ate. Soon I heard the front door open. I peeked around the corner and saw Cody walk through the door. Not only was it him but Hunter, Adam, and Ryan were behind him. Uh-oh. "Hide. If Cody sees you he is going to freak." Damon ran out the back door to his house. "Hey sis. Who are you talking to in here?" Cody asked. "Oh nobody. Myself. Hey what are you doing here I thought you guys were staying at Adam's?" I wondered. "We were but my parents said we made to much noise so they said we had to leave and Cody said your mom was fine with it so yeah. We came here." Adam interrupted. "Cody you could of at least called and asked." I said irritated. "Sorry big sis."
