Liam's pov:
I came back from the bathroom to see Nicole putting her phone in her back pocket and getting up to.. leave?
"Hey", I said coming back in the room confused.
"Why?" Is all she said before stomping out of the flat, and slamming the door while getting out.
I was confused.
What does she mean 'why'?
I looked around the room, there couldn't be anything in here to upset her.. but then I walked over to my desk and saw the first letter opened that from her...
Oh no.
I rushed out of the flat, and started to ran after her. I saw her a few meters away from me, she was about to cross the road when I yelled.
"NICOLE PLEASE".
She looked over to me, and shook her head while frowning, and started to cross the road.
But then I saw it, a car was coming full speed to her.
I started to panic and did what I thought I needed to do.
I ran full speed to her and pushed her out of the way, the car hit me really hard and I fell to the ground.
It started to get black, I could hear people yelling around me to call 911, and to get some help.
I saw Nicole hover over me crying.
Then everything went black..
Zayn's pov:
I was taking a nap on the couch, I really didn't have anything to do, so I decided to sleep for awhile. My eyes were closed when I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket.
I tried to ignore it, but something in my gut told me to answer it.
I sigh and sat up, and got my phone out, while answering it.
"Hello?" I said.
"Z-zayn?" I heard sobs over the phone.
Was that Nicole?
"Nicole? what happened?" I said standing up, worry written all over my face of what was happening.
All I knew was Liam was gonna ask Nicole to be his girlfriend tonight.
"Y-yeah.. please come to t-the h-hospital" She basically pleaded.
Now I was scared.
"Why? whats happening? I'm leaving now" I said into the phone grabbing my keys.
"Its L-liam, please just h-hurry", she said back before hanging up.
I ran out the door and ran into my car, I put on my seat belt, and put in the keys. Then started to drive..
I was rushing to the hospital... It was Liam? What had happened?
I got there in a nick of time, and ran to the front desk.
"Liam Payne's room please" I said quite quickly.
"Floor 2, room 202", she said back, I thanked her, and went over to the elevator, I pressed the number 2 and waited as it went up.
Finally it reached the floor and I ran around looking for 202.
"Finally" I muttered.
I looked around the waiting room and saw Nicole crying on a chair with Harry comforting her, while Niall and Louis were talking, with scared/worry all over them.
"Lads?" I said.
Everyone's head turned to me and Nicole ran over hugging me. I hugged her back, "What's happening Nicole?" I said.
She wiped some tears and started.
"I w-went over to L-liam's and I got m-mad at him and stormed out of t-the flat, and h-he ran after m-me, and I was a-about to get hit by a c-car but Liam s-saved me, and n-now he's here, i-its all m-my fault", She cried into my chest.
My face soften.
"Nicole it's not your fault, don't worry, Liam was being Liam, he wasn't gonna let you get hit, he would have done that for anyone, trust me, it's not your fault" I assured her.
She nodded her head, but I could still tell she didn't believe that.
We walked over to the others and sat down.
We all waited for the Doctor to come out and give us a update on Liam.
A little while later the Doctor finally did come out.
"Who's here for Liam Payne?" he asked.
All five of us stood up and walked a little closer to the Doctor.
"Um we are sir", Niall said.
The Doctor looked over to us and sighed.
"Well there's good news and bad news, what first?"
"Good", Louis answered fast, while the rest of nodded our heads.
"Well the good news is the surgery went well, your friend isn't too damaged."
"As for the bad news?" Harry now asked, with worry all over his face like the rest of us.
"The bad news is... He's in a coma."
All out jaws dropped.
