Nicole's pov:
Once I drove down to the hospital, I went up to Liam's room right away. I didn't see any of the boys around the waiting room, so I guess their inside Liam's room.
I sighed and went in.
"Hey g-", I was about to say but then saw them all laughing and... Liam awake!
I was shocked for a minute, letting everything process in my head before I do anything.
"Well hello there", he said smirking and chucking. I smile and ran over to him while screaming, "LIAM!"
All the boys laughed and I hugged him, he hugged back tightly, I wish we could stay like that forever, but we couldn't.
I let go of him and smiled, he smiled back while looking into my eyes.
"Uhm, lads can we have a moment?", Liam said snapping back into reality, looking over to the boys.
"Oh, oh yeah, kay c'mon guys", Niall said, while the others got up and left with him.
The door closed and Liam looked back at me.
"Um Nicole I have to tell you something", he said.
"wait liam before you do I wanted to say that I'm so sorry, about all of this, it's all my fault, looking through you're mail, running out on you, not listening to you, and not paying attention while crossing a damn road, i'm s-so sorry L-liam".
I said to him, spilling a few tears at the end, I just felt so bad.
Liam's face soften, and he had sad in his eyes.
"Nic please, it's not your fault, the car was driving full speed at you, it was my choice to do what I did, I wanted you to be safe, please don't think it's your fault", he said holing my hand in his.
I nodded my head while whipping away some of the tears that fell.
"Okay, sorry what did you need to tell me?" I asked him, remembering he said something before I interrupted him.
"Right um, so now we know that it's us with those letters",he said, and I nodded my head while he continued.
"well in your last letter I remember you saying.. um that you l-like me", I nodded my head again, but looked away blushing.
This is so embarrassing.
He chuckled a little and said, "well, i like you too'.
I turned my head to him shocked, he liked me?
Liam liked me? Liam likes me!
I smiled at him even wider, "really?"
"really"
He pulled me into a hug, and I hugged back. When we both pulled away, Liam looked into my eyes, I started to lean in, as was Liam.
We were about to kiss when all of a sudden there was a loud knock on the door. Both of our head snapped to the door, Liam cleared his trout.
'Come in!" He said loud enough for that person to hear.
The doctor walked in smiling.
"Ah Mr.Payne nice to see you up and smiling", he said, Liam smiled back.
"Nice to be up and smiling".
I chuckled and Liam looked over to me smiling.
"So Mr.Payne.." the doctor said, while Liam turned back around to him.
"You are aloud to get out by tonight, we just need to run a few more tests and your free to go, just sign these papers please", he said handing Liam some papers, he signed them, and the doctor thanked him while leaving.
"Well that was kinda awkward..", He said scratching the back of his neck, I nodded my head agreeing with him while laughing.
"So what now?" I asked him.
"Um, can you call Zayn in here, I wanna talk to him", I nodded my head and exited out of Liam room a little disappointed that we didn't get to kiss.
I was kinda looking foreword to that...
I sighed and walked over to Zayn.
"He wants to talk to you", Zayn looked up at me, and gave me a small smile before walking over to Liam's room.
I sat down in Zayn's sit, and leaned my head on Louis' shoulder.
Liam's pov:
After Nic left I cursed to myself, I should have kissed her after, I should have asked her what I wanted to ask her for the past two days, but of course I didn't.
Zayn walked in a minute later and smiled at me while sitting in a chair beside my bed.
"Hey",he said.
"hey", I said looking down on my hands.
"I was about to kiss her.." I said to Zayn.
"Why didn't you?", He then asked.
"Cause the doctor came in, but when he left I chickened out.."
I heard Zayn sigh, I looked up to him and saw him leaned against the chair.
After of what seemed like 2 hours, Zayn finally said, "why didn't you ask her yet?"
"because, I don't wanna do it here, I wanna make it special", I replied.
He nodded his head understanding me.
"Can you help me?"
