Unlike my older sister, Holly, I was a very loud baby. I cried and screamed 24/7. That all stopped when I was about a year old, but even then I was very hyper.
One day while making cookies, my mom and sister went to look for some chocolate chips and left me alone with all the frosting. There was about 20 cans each a different color (we love cookies, ok?) and I ate them all. Each can I ate meant I ate a different color, and each color gave me a different... feeling. Pink made me calm, I felt angry when I had red, but I loved the green frosting. I felt jumpy and bouncy. I ate white last and felt hungry.
Holly and mom came back to a mess in the kitchen and also to an innocent looking (yet messy) Jennifire.I didn't like school. At all. I hated it, but I had to go. And from day one I always insisted on having home lunch, and packing it. My mom didn't care as long as she checked it before I left. So I made sure that it at least looked ok.
All my mom saw everyday was a pb&j sandwich, a juice box, an apple and the occasional cookie with pink frosting.
What it really was though, was a ton of sugar. The peanut butter was brown and orange frosting mixed together. Jelly was red and purple frosting mixed together with a little water and tiny chunks of strawberry. The apple was jello inside an apple shaped container. I think my mom needs glasses, but I'm glad it always works! Now I'm still addicted to frosting, still love pink, and have been on an awesome adventure. An adventure with my sister, Holly; friend, Jesse; and new friend, Alyssa. And I have a feeling that this adventure is far from over.
