-After work-
Ugh I ended up working overtime as punishment. I pull out my phone in need of a ride so I call up my friend Jenna.
*ring, ring, ring*
"This I Jenna I can't come to the phone right no-"
I hung up the phone in frustration. "Great I'll call another uber." I immediately bit my lip once remembering what happened earlier today. Once I set up the uber the car was there in less then five minutes, rushing to the car I was greeted by Lucky B- .... Wait this isn't him... I hopped in the car almost disappointed. I told the driver my address but about five minutes in I told him another address. "Change of plans, can you take me to ..." I told him the address and we arrived fairly earlier then I expected. I looked up to see Mrs.Adelaide's antique shop. This used to be one of my favorite places growing up, might as well visit. I walked in very slowly while taking in the air. I was so caught up in my "old flashbacks" that I just barely heard a sudden gasp. I turned my head and was greeted by a smiling old lady, Mrs. Adelaide! I practically sprinted towards her and tackled her! I was soo excited to see her! "It's been so long! How have you been sweetie?" She asked me. "Great just great!" I answered truthfully. "So dearly where's that boyfriend your always taking about?" She said while looking around. "Oh um.. It's ... We're not together anymore..." "Ahh perfect!" She said clapping. "Excuse me?" I said shifting my eyes. "You see my son-" "You have a son!?" I asked completely unaware. "Why of course dear, anyways my son has been quite lonely for a while now and it would be great if you could just, you know talk to him, get to know him better." "Um, Mrs. Adelaide, I love you but I'm not really interested in anyone myself right now." I say lying.   "Oh but honey your both so young, he's a great chap, raised by yours truly." "Oh I'm sure he's a wonderful gentlemen-" "Hey ma." A familiar voice called out. No, no is that? I looked up to see Lucky holding a brown pupper. "I got him to sleep!" He said cheerfully. "Oh hey Izzy, what are you doing here?" "Just visiting." I reply totally amazed by the small pupper. "Oh so you two have met I see." Mrs . Adelaide says clapping her hands. "Well you can say that." I answer. "Well why don't you two sweet hearts talk and I'll make you some tea." "Alright sounds good, thanks." I say nodding. As soon as she leaves us alone Lucky turns to me. "How about we go out to lunch Wednesday afternoon?" "Oh um...I guess." I say hesitantly. "C'mon this is the part where your supposed to say oh Lucky I thought you'd never ask!" He says getting in feminine pose. "Haha that look suits you!" I say cracking up. "Time for tea!" Mrs . Adelaide calls out.

-Wednesday after lunch-

"Yeah so, I had an amazing time."I say unable to stop smiling.
" Same with me.." Lucky says while looking in my eyes.
We start to lean in, for obvious reasons.
His lips touch mine, it's as if fire and gasoline mix. It just felt...right.
"Hey um... Do you wanna maybe go back to my place and like watch Netflix or something...?" He says shyly.
"I thought you'd never ask!" I say grinning.
