Fallen had her head down. Listening to Ms. Shocksens even though it sounds like a layer of film, an 'I don't give a damn' film, filled her ears. Like her class, her world, her body was distant from her mind. Her hair dusted the desk she sat at.
"-------Lane? Fallane?" Ms. Shocksens' voice called.
"Humph..." Fallen sat up, letting her eyes pry themselves open and allowing the fluorescent sun light to stain through the big windows into her eyes. Sometimes she pictured them with bars...
"Did you hear the question?" she asked. Fallen took a moment to examine the woman. Her aged skull sunken in, looking hollow. Her green eyes tinted grey and reflecting her constant mood. Her obsession of black shirts shows through her common style. At the moment Fallen didn't care enough to see what color shoes she has to clash with her teal pencil skirt. She smacked her lips.
"No, to be honest I didn't hear the question. I heard you mispronounce my name though," she stated bluntly.
"Excuse me, Ms. Anderson," the teacher asked, resting her hands on her hip as though to intimidate.
Fallen chuckled and threw her hands into her hair, pulling it into a messy bun and snapping an elastic around it. "You called me Fallane, I've never in my life met a Fallane, my names Fallen."
"Oh," Ms. Shocksens blushed and turned back to the board forgetting the question herself, "sorry."
"Whatever," Fallen rested her head down, letting the film fill her head again... She wasn't big on English lit, or any of her classes, honestly. Tempt Forest Academy was like her own personal loony bin. She let everyone stare at her, she didn't care enough to tear through them with her strange eyes. Strange only because one is an ivy green and the other a tropical ocean blue. She let herself drift off, into her own little wonderland, Fallen in Wonderland... She cracked a smile through her dreams.
*snap, snap* she heard a thick pop to her right. Plucked from her dreams like a berry from a bush. "WHAT?!" she complained, looking up, in doing so she almost rammed her head into her best friend's face. Tempest jumped backwards, her blue raspberry hair flowing by her shoulders. Her wide anime-like eyes blinked,
"Sorry Fal, class is over... Wanna go meet Spence and Quint in the court yard?" Tempest asked, almost dancing out of her translucent skin. Temp always has a perky little aura to her. It lightened Fallen's 'I don't give a fuck' mood.
"Sure," Fallen smiled, laughing at Temp's happy dance. Temp pulled out her galaxy cased phone and no doubt texted Spence 'How did I get stuck with that crazy?' She smiled to herself. Temp smiled and adjusted her silver and black spider web necklace. Quickly, she snagged Fallen's bag from her and threw it over her shoulder.
"You've lost your bag privileges," Tempest giggled and she darted out of the room, Fallen chasing after her...
