Chapter 4

I opened my eyes as soon as I heard the alarm clock rang. I stood up from my bed to prepare myself for another hectic day. It's only the second day of classes and I already feel so worned out. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and I saw dark circles under my eyes which is quite alarming because I don't want others to see me as a panda bear.

After observing myself, I went to the bathroom to do my morning rituals. I wore my uniform because we maids are required to wear this stupid thing when we are performing our duties. I French braided my hair then I applied some make up on my face to reduce the paleness of my skin.

I decided to prepare the clothes that I'll be wearing later so I grabbed a pair of jeans and ballet flats and a navy blue v - neck blouse from my closet then I laid them on my bed. I scanned my bag to check if I have everything that I need and when everything was all set, I went to Matthew's room to wake him up.

As I neared his bedroom, I saw three maids were gathered outside. They were crying and after a few seconds, another maid exited the room and joined the others. I went to them to ask what's the commotion about.

"We were asked to wake the young master up but he's so grumpy and he said that he will fire us if we didn't stop bothering him but we can't because Matilda will kill us if we obey him." One of them answered.

It made me furious when I discovered how selfish and inconsiderate he is towards others that he doesn't care if someone will suffer just to have his beauty sleep so I entered his room and I saw some pillows scattered around his bed. I went to him and I saw how cute and innocent he is when his asleep which I hope will last forever. I saw how flawless his skin is and not to mention his long eyelashes which made me envy him for having. His hair was disheveled but that doesn't affect his handsomeness at all. But I'm immune to all those factors especially that he always annoys me to death. That face is just a mask to cover his true identity which is wicked and evil.

I grabbed a pillow from the floor then I hit him with it to wake him up but he wasn't affected at all but he managed to grab a pillow from his bed then he threw it to my direction which landed hardly on my face.

"Get out! Or else -" I cut him off.

"Or else what? You'll fire me? I'm scared please don't" I said sarcastically "Oh please, your being so childish and I don't care if you do it because I hate being your servant so just wake up before I'll hit you again." I pulled the blanket off of him and my cheeks reddened when I saw that he's only wearing his boxers but I tried to remain calm and I pulled his fingers so I can pull him out of the bed.

"Ow! Would you stop hurting me even just this once? Fine, I surrender, I'll get out of the bed already. Have you prepared my clothes? And have you already prepared the bath tub? I need to take a plunge so I can relax myself before facing school again."

"I know that you're old enough to do those stuffs and are you insane? It's already 6:30, thirty minutes before classes start and you still have the guts to 'take a plunge'? Oh come on, come to your senses Matthew." I said

"Fine, then just prepare my underwear. I'll take care of my clothes because I know you don't know what fashion is." He smirked as he went towards his bathroom. Oh my gosh, someone hold me tight because I will really kill this man. He turned towards me again, maybe to see my annoyance and hatred towards him.

"And also, place it inside the bathroom because I know that you wouldn't want to see me naked would you?" He asked. That's it I'm so gonna kill him.

"No! Do it by yourself. I'm leaving."

I exited his room not bothering to hear his reply then I saw the girls waiting outside.

"What happened?" One of them asked.
