Jason pov
     I stood on top of the Empire State Building thinking. Will this really make Piper forgive me? What about Emily? What about Thalia? What about mo- never mind forget that.
I took out the pocket knife and carved a J+P on the roof. No one will see it and that's how I like. A symbol of hope that always gets crushed. Like my heart.
Just as I was about to jump I heard a scream. I turned and saw Piper still in a hospital gown. Her hair was a mess. And her eyes were colorful. She was beautiful.
"Jason! Don't do it. You promised me you wouldn't. Look, I heard what you said in the hospital. And I forgive you. You don't have to do this. Doing this will hurt me more. Is that what you want? I always had feelings for you. Even when you cheated on me. Whenever I saw you with some other girl, my stomach would churn and I would feel ready to tear her oh-so-perfect hair right out. By jumping off, you are killing the love of my life. Not only that I will follow you." She said.
"Me too!" Emily said which really freaked me out cause I didn't see them. "Me three!" Leo exclaimed. Where the heck did he come from? "Me four!" Percy shouted. How many were up here. Soon all my friends were up here. (A/N sorry I know this is a little awkward transition. I just REALLY wanted them in this.)
I thought over what Piper said. Was I really doing the right thing. Or was I making the worst mistake of my life? They came here for a reason. Even Percy came and he can barely go on a plane. One chance.
"I'm sorry guys." I said.
