Chapter 7- Mirrors and More Chaos

After the whole Evil Queen debacle, things have finally settled here in Auradon.  The cafeteria is being repaired and Belle's Garden is being replanted.  The museum is upgrading its security to make it villain-proof but I doubt it will be able to keep even one Isle of the Lost kid out.   Also my day with the King and Queen has been rescheduled to a few weeks from now.  What a joy that will be!

    Anyway, as of now,  Ben and I have been tasked with reorganizing the students for school, more like Ben is doing it and I'm distracting him...  As Auradon Prep is still under construction, all of us students can't go to class,not that that's a problem for me, however, the parents of all of the Auradon kids still want them to get an education!!!  So now Ben is looking into open spaces in Auradon where the classes could be moved to... By the way this has been going on for about four hours now and Ben still hasn't found anything.  So I get up from my seat and flip through my spell book and finally find something that could help Ben come to a decision about the Auradonians.  

"Thoughts and choices fill his mind, find a way to make him not blind to the decision he's trying to find," I recite.  He then finally decides to set Auradon Prep in one of the abandoned warehouses in Auradon.  Although there are very few of them Auradon contains several empty houses from where several good families lived until they turned evil.  Now, being teenagers who like to spread rumors, Auradon Prep has had the notion that these houses are haunted by the thing or creature that turned those families evil.  The rest of the Villain kids and I are going to go inspect the warehouse just to prove to everyone it's not haunted but all we're doing is sleeping there for a night and then leaving!!! I really don't see how it could possibly be haunted because Auradon is protected from evil by the magical barrier.  Anyway Auradon is pretty much perfect... Each building is filled with a business that doesn't go bankrupt and the only empty spaces are the warehouses so that is where we intend to move for the time being. 

At the moment, Doug is trying to get Evie to clean out even more of her mirrors because she made him buy her more of them. (and by made him, I mean Evie kissed him and walked away)  Anyway, it's quite funny how literally all of the buildings were damaged except for the dorms.  I guess queens really do value beauty sleep over everything else.  Speaking of beauty sleep, Audrey is still having odd fainting moments lately, and Jay has been on this quest to steal...I mean borrow... any book that has any insight as to whether he is Audrey's true love.  That love sick boy has searched everywhere but I honestly don't think this has happened to anyone before......... Has it?

Right now Ben has just realized that I spelled him and he reprimands, "Mal! You know it's not nice to spell your boyfriend!!! I was very close to coming to a decision..."

Rolling my eyes I retort, "Benny Boo you've been at this for hours and there was no decision to make... Unless you want Mr. Pan teaching Youth and Development class in your bedroom..."
Ben chuckles, "Now I see your point! Let's go see if Doug survived Evie's mirror binge!"

We walk over to my dorm room to find Doug and Evie surrounded in a sea of mirrors.   In shock at how many mirrors she bought, I yell, "E! Other people have to do spring cleaning before buying new things but you have to do spring cleaning so the walls of our room can sustain the amount of light reflecting off of your hundreds of mirrors!!!"

"Don't worry M! I made Doug return most of them, these are the ones that made the final cut and are going in the closet!"

"These are not the majority of what you bought!!?!?!?"

Doug sighs, "She bought two hundred and thirty seven to be exact... Evie lied about returning the majority, she had me return two..."

I yell,"EVIE WE HAVE TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE MIRRORS IN OUR ROOM PLUS THE ONES YOU BOUGHT LAST TIME?!?"

"Maybe?", Evie says with a sheepish grin. Just then a knock interrupts me almost breaking every mirror in the room.  I try to regain a calm composure and open the door to find a note from Jane which says, "Meet me at my dorm! Mal I need your help there's something wrong! DON'T BRING ANYBODY!!! NOT EVEN CARLOS!!!"

I know I'm sorry I keep ending it on cliffhangers. I have been so so so so busy with college applications and my ACTs that I haven't had time this whole summer to write! I'm so sorry my dear readers but I hope you like the story so far! Please Please Comment on what you think of this chapter!!!
