Chapter 38

While in the car with Brian and Tess, it was very  awkward. The whole time they fought and it made Brian even more pissed then before. We finally pulled up to the drive way. Brian opened the door for Tessa. He glared at her. Get out, he said sternly. She rolled her eyes. Nope. I started to get irritated. Tessa just get out of the damn car! She shot her head up. Shut up melody! My dad came out from the front door. Tess? Where have you been we have been worried sick about you! Tessa got out of the car and ran into the house. I rolled my eyes. Drama queen. Ariana came up to me. Hey you guys found her? Where was she?! I bit my lip. At her boyfriends house. Ariana looked confused. Her boyfriend? Tessa doesn't have a boyfriend. I Shrugged. She does now. We all walked into the house. Luke and Tessa were staring each other down. Luke asked Brian where we found her. Brian cleared his throat before talking. We found her at Jessie's house. Luke's eyes got big. Why were you at Jessie's? Tessa crossed her arms. Because now a days, he's the only one I actually can trust! And he trusts me. Ariana laughed a little  and rolled her eyes. Brian spoke up. Apparently they're now dating. Luke looked like he was gonna explode. He tried to talk calmly. Go to your room. We can talk about this later. Luke went off to the office. I got a text from Jessie.

Text convo w/ Jessie
J- hey btw the party is tonight Ik Tess won't be allowed to but what about you and Ariana?
M- omg I totally forgot about it!
J- yeah it's Tonight at 8:30
M- ok idk about Ariana but I'll be there
J- aight cool

I looked up from my phone. Ariana the party is tonight. Ariana looked over at Brian quickly and back at me. I doubt I can go. Brian looked over. You are definitely right, sorry Mel Ariana won't be joining you tonight. I frowned. Great Tess won't be able to go either. Ari shrugged. Have fun without us, we have kill joy dads hahaha. She looked pissed. Brian raised an eyebrow. Maybe if you guys told the truth for once, you wouldn't be in this situation. Whatever, Ari said before walking away. I awkwardly walked away and went to see my dad. Dad! I'm gonna be at Jessie's house for the party in about an hour! My dad looked over at me. I don't know if you should go. I crossed my arms. Dad I'm going we already agreed, I said while walking up stairs to find my outfit. Melody, he said sternly. I kept walking. I went into my room shutting  the door. I heard a knock. Mel let me in, my dad said. I rolled my eyes before opening the door. What. I said plainly. My dad raised an eyebrow. What are you guys gonna be doing at this party of yours. In my head I was thinking about the drinking and sexual activity that usually goes on at Jessie's party. I looked up at my dad. We're just gonna have some pizza, yah know just chill. Maybe listen to some music. Hm, chill. Doesn't sound truthful to me. I made an "O" shape with my mouth. Dad! We already agreed. Come on just pease let me get ready. My dad laughed. Ok, ok. I guess but I need to know I can trust you. I stared at him with a blank expression. Dad! You can trust me ok. He stared at me for  a moment. Ok, have fun.

~ At the party
I didn't want to go inside of the party yet so I just sat in the car waiting for Sean. After five minutes of me being impatient, I finally texted him.

M- hey babe, are you at Jessie's yet?
S- yeah I'm already here.. I didn't know  were still coming
M- yeah, just me tonight tho. Lol I'll come in now
S- aren't you grounded?
M- umm. Nope?
S- I don't think you should come baby, this ones a lil boring
M- oh no, it's ok it's to awkward at home rn, besides I wanna see you :)

Sean was acting different over the phone and I didn't know why. I just brushed it off and finally got out of the car. I opened the front door. The party didn't look how Sean described it. Jessie ran up to me. Ayee! Mel! You made it. here have a beer. I smiled at him. Thanks Jess! Do you know where Sean is? He looked at me. Um I saw him talking to someone a few minutes ago, I don't know where they went. I nodded slowly. He smiled come on let's party! 30 minutes into the party I still haven't found Sean. I finally asked one of Sean's friends. I walked up to Kyle, he was drunk and sitting with a very drunk girl. Hey Kyle. I smiled at him. Do you know where Sean is? He looked at me slowly. Oh hey melody haha, he's up stairs I think. I cringed when smelling his breath. Thank you. I went up stairs to find Sean. I heard someone in the bathroom. I opened the door to see Sean kissing some other girl. I looked at him with tears forming in my eyes. Sean? The girl gave me a dirty look then looked at Sean. Baby, who's she? Sean looked shocked  not responding to the chick. I stared at them crying and ran down stairs. Jessie saw me and stopped me. Hey, hey! Don't cry. What's the matter? I heard Sean call my name, pushing and shoving to get to me. I looked over at Jess. I wiped my tears. I have to go Jessie. I ran out the door to my car.
