Tao's POV

"Ssssshhhhhhh."

"Don't touch him."

"What? Is it forbidden to fix my baby's hair."

"I just don't want him to wake up yet"

"But we're here to take care of him."

"Just don't touch him. he just look so angelic while sleeping."

I was hearring familiar voices in my sleep getting louder making me shift my weight. But the glare of the sunshine that struck my eyes woke me up. I rubbed my eyes as i said. "Ba? Pa?" Two words that my mouth uttered as if my parents were there.

"Good morning taozi!" I heard two familiar voices that greeted me when i finally opened my eyes i saw two familiar faces that raised me into what i am now.

It took three seconds for the situation to sink in and i finally screamed "Baba! Appa! What are you guys doing here?"

My parents, baba zhoumi and siwon appa, rushed to hug me on each side. My baba kissed my temple and told me "We just want to see our baby. Is that too much to ask?"

"No... i'm just surprised." I told them with a giggle... i really am surprised and it was a good thing that kris cleaned up, made me shower and dressed myself in my pyjamas last night.

"We just came to see how you are two doing. You two are no longer updating us." Appa sat beside baba and they just look cute as ever.

"As parents we need to know what is going on with you two." Baba added as i pulled the sheets up trying to conceal my love bitten neck.

"We actually thought you two separated." Appa added and my freaking smile suddenly faded.

"Appa... no..." i couldn't help it but say it. I mean i still could not move on from the career and relationship rollercoaster that kris and i are still in. Sadly i couldn't get myself to speak up about it.

"He actually had another man in here." Baba said

"And he said you were with sehun." Appa added.

"So we thought you guys part ways." Baba added again.

I got do overwhelmed with what they actually know about me and kris at the moment. I don't even know why they thought kris and i split. What the actual fuck made them think that?

So with my puffy morning eyes i stared at tgem both as they anticipated for me to speak up i gulped nervously then smiled sheepishly as i rub my tummy.

"Baba... appa... it's a long story. And i do need kris to help me explain." I said right after a very shaky and nervous chuckle. Then i looked around and asked "Where is kris?"

"Downstairs cooking." I suddenly jumped out of bed when appa said this actually ignoring them and rushed to hug my husband who was wearring my apron in the kitchen.

"Tao... you should stay away. I don't want you getting a burn." Kris warned me but i still hugged him as the smell of pancakes linger around the room.

"Wow! I never knew you could cook." I kissed kris's cheek as i took one pancake from one plate into my hands and took a bite. "Hmmmmmmm...these are pretty yummy babe."
