"This is the last one." I gave my last box to Jack and turned around. Thomas ran out the door with my mum chasing after him. "Bailey save me." He stood behind me wrapping his arms around my waist. "And why do you expect me to do that?"
"Mums trying to do my hair again. It looks fine the way I do it." I turned around to see his hair the way it normally is. "That was not the answer I was looking for..."
"Because you're my favourite sibling and I love you heaps, and I'm going to miss you so much."
"That's better. Mum just let him be." My mum narrowed her eyes at us before walking back inside calling for Michael. "Thank you."
"Did you seriously say that she is your favourite sibling?" Thomas let go of my waist and turned around. "Well considering that she looked after us for 12 years when we had colds and you didn't want to help out, yeah she's my favourite." Jack shook his head before wrapping his arms around his younger brother. "I'm going to miss you, you little shit."
"Jackson!" He let go of Thomas to see Mum and Dad standing there, Mum with her hand on her heart. "Sorry?" Michael ran over and gave Jack a hug, while Thomas leant up against the boot of Mum's car looking down towards his feet. Once Michael was done with Jack he ran over to me and gave me a hug. "I'm gonna miss you."
"I'm going to miss you to, but am definitely not going to miss all the pranks." Michael laughed and patted my head. I looked over at Thomas and went and stood in front of him, opening my arms. He jumped into them. "I'm going to miss you so much."
"Same here." I let go and looked at him. "I'll see you at Christmas yeah?" He nodded and walked over to where Michael was standing and leant against his shoulder. "I swear to god if you are crying, you are not my twin anymore." Thomas looked up and laughed. Jack and I got into separate cars and drove off.
Following Jack isn't difficult because his car stands out. He has a bright red Mazda, while I have a black Mini. Soon enough Jack pulled over and parked his car, I drove up a tiny bit and reversed in right in front of his car. I got out and saw this massive apartment building. "This is where we're living?" Jack nodded and opened the boot of his car. "And now we starting taking boxes up. I nodded and opened up my boot stacking boxes on top of each other. "Lets do this."
Once we were done, I had a room and so did Jack, leaving one room left for his roommate. I walked out into the lounge room, and looked around. The boys had done a good job. They had put in a nice big couch, tall kitchen stools at the bench and they had all the other stuff you would need to live. I sat down on the couch and shut my eyes. Not long after I felt some one heavy sitting on top of me. "We did it, we got out of that hell hole." I laughed and pushed Jack off of me. "I think you need to start working out brother of mine. Feels like you've gained some." Jack quickly stood up, pulling up his shirt, revealing his heavily defined six pack, which all the girls at school swoon over. "Do you really think I need to go to the gym?"
"Okay, okay. You're all good." Jack let go of his shirt and sat down next to me, putting his arm around the back of the couch. "What should we do for dinner, because I'm beat, and unless you can be bothered to cook, well go ahead?"
"Let's just order pizza."
The pizza turned up half an hour later, while Jack went to pick it up, I went and got changed. I put a pair of pyjama shorts on and one of Jack's old soccer jerseys on. I went and sat back down on the couch just as he walked through the door. "What took you so long?" Jack sat down on the couch putting the pizza on the coffee table in front of us, opening the box and taking a piece and taking a bit out of it. "It's not even that good. I argued with the guy because I wouldn't give him a tip. Apparently it takes a long time because it's the best pizza you'll get." I smiled at my brother and took a bite out of the piece that I had in my hand. "So not good at all."
