One evening, Annabel decided to take to walk through a park to get some fresh air. The sky was overcast and dark clouds were gathering. The light was fading fast.
As she walked along the path, something caught her attention. She heard faint noises coming from behind the trees. Among the bushes, Annabel saw a old man fallen out of his wheelchair. She was about to go to help him when a teenage boy arrived.
The teenage boy quickly helped the man back into his wheelchair. The old man gave the boy a sweet smile.
"Thank you. You are a good boy. I am so grateful. For this good deed you indeed deserve a reward" said the old man with a smirk.
When Annabel, heard that, she felt guilty. She was also a little jealous of that boy as he got the reward. She started to walk but she saw something from the corner of her eye that made her stop in her tracks.
The old man stood up. He took the boy's arm in one hand and clamped his other hand over the boy's mouth to stifle his cries. She wanted to run to help the boy, but she was frozen to the spot.
She was filled with terror. She watched in horror as the old man bit into the boy's arm, his sharp teeth sinking into his flesh. Annabel tried to look away, but failed. The boy was soon crumpled up like a deflated balloon.
Every drop of the boy's blood was being sucked up by the man. The old man suddenly began to transform. His eyes, which were dull, now began to shine. His wrinkles disappeared. The man became younger. Annabel ran as fast as she could, to search for help. Everything had occurred right before her eyes.
Finally, she found a policeman. When they returned, the man was nowhere to be found. The wheelchair was still there, among the bushes. Besides the wheelchair, were the remains of the teenage boy.
All that was left of him was his skin and clothes.
