Owen's POV

The taxi pulls up outside Piney Pointe, a hotel that we're staying at for the next few weeks. After thanking the driver and getting our bags, we stare at the monstrosity. It surrounds us on all sides, with a circle driveway around what looks to be a courtyard. The one exit from where we are is directly behind us on the far side of the open area. The gates are open now, but on our way in we saw a sign that said the gates open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

The hotel itself looks to be four floors high, with a connecting balcony going all the way around on every floor except the first, where a sidewalk replaces the balcony. On the first floor, the walls facing the courtyard are made entirely of glass. "Whoa," says Zack. "Whoa is right," I agree. "C'mon, guys, let's go get some hotel rooms," I say.

We walk inside to find that the lobby is even more amazing than the outside. It is very spacious, with seating areas scattered about it. On the sides of the lobby, there are two hallways that I assume lead to the rooms on the first floor. On either side of the right hallway are two silver elevators which people are coming in and out of. Hanging on the wall is a map of the hotel. On the far side of the room, there is a grand staircase.

Hanging above the reception desk is a massive glass chandelier that looks so heavy that it seems as if it is going to fall in the next few minutes. Zack and I sit down on a couch while Adam and George go to pay for our room.

"I have bad news," Adam says as they walk over. "What is it?" I ask. "The rooms only have two beds each, so we had to split up," George says, tossing me a key. "So you got us rooms near each other right, Adam?" Zack asks. "Not exactly," Adam says, handing Zack a key as he sits down. "Owen, you're with me, and Zack is with Adam," George says. "Me and Zack have room 225, but, Owen, you and George are in 475," Adam says, reluctant to break the news. "Well that's just great," Zack says sarcastically.

💀

The elevator stops with a ding! and opens to reveal the second floor. When we arrive at Adam and Zack's room, the already unlocked door opens with a loud, creepy creeeeeak. George and I walk down the hallway and sit on the couch in the common room while Zack and Adam unpack. Adam comes out of his room and says, "I think we're done in here, who wants to go explore?" "Hang on, Adam, me and Owen still have to put our stuff in our room," George says. "Oh, that's right, you're not staying with us!" Zack complains. "C'mon, let's go up to George's and my room," I say.

The elevator opens and we walk out into the fourth-floor lounge. It's just like the second floor, except where the second floor's theme is purple, this floor's theme is black. "Hey, guys, let's have a race to Owen and George's room!" Zack yells excitedly. She gets on Adam's back and George gets on mine.

"Ready, set, go!" Adam shouts. I take off, full speed, with Adam right behind me. When we turn the corner, they almost slam into the wall. "Owen, look! Our room's getting close!" George shouts down at me. I try to speed up, but George's so heavy that I start slowing down. Suddenly, Adam and Zack pass us. I fight to keep up, but I don't think we're gonna win. "Faster, Owen!" George shouts. "I can't go any faster, George!" I shout back. We're neck and neck, but right at the last second, Adam speeds up a little and crosses the 'finish line' seconds before us. Dammit. I should've paced myself instead of wasting my energy in the beginning. I slow down, and George gets off my back.

Like before, the unlocked door opens with a creeeeeak. We walk down the hallway and find it's exactly the same as Adam and Zack's hotel room. We go into the big room after me and George drop our suitcases off in our rooms.

"Zack, you know you can get off my back, right?" Adam asks. "I know, but I don't want to," He replies. Adam sighs and rolls his eyes.

"C'mon, let's go explore!" George shouts excitedly. As we're walking down the hallway, I feel like something is watching me. I turn around in a panic, but nothing's there.

A/N
Hey guys! So I've decided to change this to a horror story (meaning I changed the names) because I felt my characters didn't really fit the actual band members' characters. I hope you enjoy the book anyway!
