"C'mere," he says softly while pulling me into a hug. I climb in bed, and Adam cuddles with me as we fall asleep.

Zack's POV

The smell of coffee wakes me up. I walk into the main room and Adam says from the kitchenette, "Finally! I thought you were never gonna get up!" "What time is it?" I ask groggily. "12:00." My eyes almost pop out of my head. "12:00?! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" I practically scream at him.

"3 reasons. 1, I just got back up here like 5 minutes ago. 2, We're on vacation, so it's not like we need to go anywhere or do anything today. 3, I tried, you're such a heavy sleeper that no matter what I did, you wouldn't wake up." I walk over to the coffee machine and pour myself a cup while I'm thinking about how to respond. I decide on, "Wait. You just got back 5 minutes ago? Where did you go?"

"Owen texted me around 10 this morning saying they wanted to meet in the dining room for a late breakfast. I tried waking you up so you could come with, but you wouldn't wake up. I even tried making coffee! So, eventually, I gave up and left you to sleep while I had breakfast with them," Adam explains. "WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU LEAVE ME HERE WHEN I ENDED UP SLEEPING IN YOUR ROOM BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID TO BE ALONE?!" I scream at him. "Whoa, man, calm down. I thought you would be fine, okay? Also, speaking of, what happened to you last night that freaked you out so much?"

I take a sip of coffee, knowing this is going to be a long story. "So, last night, after I was done showering, something wrote in the foggy mirror, 'hello, Zack,-" "How do you know it wasn't just me playing a prank on you?" Adam interrupts. "Because I watched it write on the mirror. Anyway, I tried convincing myself that it was nothing and went to bed. Then, in my dream, no, nightmare, these two guys named Jeremy and Kevin were being chased this guy named Sebastien. Sebastien caught Kevin and started choking him. Jeremy didn't want to leave Kevin, but he had to, so he kept running anyway. Jeremy ended up jumping through a window in an attempt to escape, but he was too far up or something. Right when he landed, I woke up. That was when I went to your room."

I look down at my coffee cup and realize that it's empty. "That's a crazy nightmare," Adam says as I'm walking back over to the coffee machine, "But it was just that. A nightmare. Just a figment of your imagination. Nothing to be scared of." "What about the mirror?" I ask, turning away from the machine. "It was late. You were tired. You probably just imagined it."

I narrow my eyes and say, "That's a bunch of bullshit. I know what I saw, Adam! Why won't you believe me?!" He stares at me in shock after my outburst, seeming to have nothing to say. "Right. Stand there and say nothing. I'm going out," I say, grabbing my room key. "Wait, Zack-" I cut him off by slamming the door.

When I'm about 10 feet away from the room, I realize I still have bedhead and my pajamas on. "Shit," I say. "Hey, language," says a guy, his face hidden in shadows. "Sorry," I say. "Why are you apologizing? I was just messing with you." "I heard what happened in there," he continues. "Why were you and your boyfriend fighting?" "He's not my boyfriend," I mumble. "Oh yeah?" He asks, stepping out of the shadows.

My eyes widen, and I start running towards the elevators. He chases after me, but the elevator door closes before he can catch me. Why was I running? Because he looked exactly like one of the guys in my nightmare last night.
