One bomb released
A number of innocuous souls killed
Some injured
Others maimed
Children orphaned
Women widowed
Blood shed
No difference made
Our lives continue...
Properties are annhilated
Shelter is deprived
Insecurity is increased
Basic necessities become far-fetched
Aid is required
No one is bothered
No difference made
Our lives continue...
Volley of rockets released
Innocent people blitzed
Death toll is proliferated
Situation is known world wide
Yet no help has arrived
They are starved
They become malnourished
No difference made
Our lives continue...
Thousands made an escapade
Perilous ways they used
To make a difference in their lives is what they wanted
However not everyone succeeded
Alas they died
Either the dingys capsized
Or they were caught red handed
No difference made
Our lives continue...

Have you lost all your emotion?
Nothing stirs in your heart
When mercilessly from the world they are forced to part?
Take a second for contemplating
Is our carelessness justifying?
A small baby step try to take
And see the difference you will make!
