Do you know what it feels like to come home at night and start calling out his name to tell him about your day and then realize that he's not just there anymore?
You miss him so badly that all you end up doing is putting on his shirt that still smelled so much like him, curling up in it as you lie awake in bed and finally, crying yourself into oblivion.
You try to conjure him in your dreams. You drown yourself in memories of him until you could almost believe that he's real again. But when you wake up, you realize that it's only an illusion and you find yourself feeling more empty than you had been yesterday.
Because he's gone forever.
And he's never coming back.
