Beware the bats
of Gotham's night
For with their wings
they bring a blightBlack as painted
by the moon
Colour filth
from which they're hewnA rite they bring
a specter of fear
a reaper, a ghoul
ever creeping nearCountless lives
did he took
Be they clean
or be they crookHe'd kill and hack
and rend and maim
All those who dare
speak of his nameThis secret you'll
take to the grave
Never speak of him:
the shadow by the cave.Artwork and words by; Chad Roble
