It was a peaceful day in the village square everyone doing their job. "Get out of the way!" Suddenly, two boys on horses sped though the plaza. Both of them going as fast as they could. They had white horses only one boy had brown blotches and the other bad grey speckles. The one on the speckled grey horse was catchin up to the one on the blotchy brown one. "You think you can get away hat easily!" He yelled.

"Yeah, I am normally faster on horseback then you!" He said, while speeding up. His brother smirked riding faster. They were going up the dirt rode fast as we're heading home.

The brother one the blotched brown horse thought of a plan to win and quickly turned of the rood sayin to himself, "Tamas will be surprised to lose this time."

--- --- ---

Meanwhile, Tamas, the brother on the speckled grey horse, was ahead and the high ridge was getting closer after he rounded that bend it would be a straight shot to the house. "I am so going to win! Rhon has no chance!" Just as he hit the edge of the cliff Rhon came flying off it with his horse. Landing a few feet in front of him. "Rhon! You cheater!!"

"All is fair in 'Love and War!' Brother!!" He called over his shoulder racing faster into their big courtyard. Rhon slowed to a stop as a skinny woman in her late thirty's came out. He hoped of his horse as it began walking with the stable boy. Tomas did the same thing as the woman put her hands on her hips. "Where have you two been?"

They looked at each other. "Getting supplies!" Rhon said. "Racing!" Tomas said at the same time. They eyed each other then said what the other said in unison again. "We were getting supplies..." Tomas started.

"...Then, we raced home." Rhon finished cutting him of. Both their excuses were true but they knew they were still in trouble.

"Well that is no reason for not being here! Did you guys forget that you had knight training today? You were suppose to start at sun high!!" They hung their heads in fake shame. "Yeah that's right be ashamed! You should be glad your instructor likes to spar with your father or he would have left by now. Go get your armor and swords or I will beat you both senseless!"

They stared walking toward the armory but looked at each other and started chuckling. Giving each other a shove, we ran the rest of the way to it. We came out in starling silver armor. But the difference was that Tamas's armor had gold cuffs with red rubies. Where Rhon's had gold cuffs with green emeralds. They both had an insignia that meant life and death on their back. They came out to find their instructor and father dueling. They went closer as as the two older man dueled more. Tamas broke the silence, "Left swing, father!" He did catching their instructor off guard as his sword went flying. His sword no longer in hand he raised his hands in defeat.

"Well done old friend." Their father said lowering the sword shaking hands with their instructor.

"And same to you Lord James." He said grabbing a hold of James hand tight. "Also to your boys!" He turned to them. They straightened. He folded his arms in front of his chest. "Work 'em hard o easy today?" He asked James.

"Hard." They gaped at him.

"Alright then 100 laps around the courtyard." He commanded.

They sighed. "Yes, Mister Abraham." They said in unison. They started jogging.
