'Darn.' Rhon thought as he rode slowly on his horse. 'Tamas feels triumph so that means he already has a good catch.' He looked around. 'I have to find a good catch or Tamas will- Buck!' The big creature was only a few meters away. I readied mybow. 'Fire!' It stumbled and fell. I ran over to it. 'One, two, three, four... Eight.' I used my whistle to get my horse. Loading the buck on I started at a trot back. 'Tamas feels a sense of surprise? Why?' I thought as Tamas's emotions came in like a flood once more. "Hmmm... What's happening with you, Tamas?" He thought out loud. I soon got into town, and once again saw the woman in her late 30s, her brown and black hair in an elegant braid down her back, and she was busying herself with putting in her cart groceries. "Mother, I'm back!" He said getting of his horse.

"Oh, good, Honey. I was talking with your instructor who said you were better at fist fights than your brother," She said still busy putting things in the cart.

"Yeah, he really praised me for it. I think it's better for when there's wars too because you won't always have your sword. Also, do you have any room in the cart?"

"Oh, yes I do. I made sure to bring the bigger one since you and your brother were going hunting. By the way what did you get?" She asked stopping to look over his shoulder.

"I got a big eight pointer." He said stepping to the side.

"Ok, put it in the cart and then will you help me buy some flour. It's far to heavy these days."

"Sure mom." He put the big beast into the cart and walked with his mom to buy the flour. They had just finished loading it up when he saw him. "Matthew!" The boy turned. "Matthew?" He said then ran over to him. He was pale as a ghost and shaking uncontrollably. "Dude, what happened? You look like you saw death and lived through it."Matthew mumbled something.

"What?" I asked.

Again a hushed whisper of words.

"What? Dude speak up I can't hear you?"

Matthew tried again this time barely audible. "I did see it but I was saved from it."

"WHAT?!? No way! What happened?! Are ya all right?" I asked very worried now.

Very softly Matthew replied. "I will be fine when I get home. Bye..... Forever."

"What? Forever? Why forever?"

"Cause I am never coming out again." He said walking away.

"Oh, no you don't! Your coming with me now."

"What?! No I'm- HEY! Put me down!" His yell was only about normal as he was thrown over Tamas's shoulder.

"Nope I am getting you some help and stuff."

"No let me go! YOU'RE CRAZY!" He said as loud as he could. Even if it was a little louder than his normal voice.

"I know but that's why you guys love me." He said with a big grin. He got in his mothers cart. "Alright, Mom, let's go."

"Ok dear." There was a snap of the reins, a jerk of the cart and they were off. As the town passed by, a feeling of panic, surprise, then fear washed over Rhon. 'Tamas, what are you doing?'
