"Oh my gosh Jess!" Olivia squealed, "You two would be so cute together!"
"Oh be quiet." I tell her
Hours pass and before I know it my shift is over and I'm saying goodbye to Olivia.
"Bye Liv, see you Monday." I tell her as I'm walking out the door and to my car.
On the drive home I try to decide what I want to do to tonight because its Friday. And I have nothing planned as usual.
After I get home I text my friend Ashely and ask her if she's has any plans for tonight. A few minutes later I get an answer from Ashley.
*No, I'm not doing anything. We should go to the mall. :) *
*Yeah sounds good. Meet there at 7:00?*
*Sure!* She answers. I look at the clock and it's already 6:30. I head upstairs and change out of my work clothes into more comfortable ones. I looked at the clock and it was already quarter to seven so I grabbed my purse and keys.
After I parked and walked into the mall I saw Ashely.
"Hey Ashley." I say while walking up to her.
"Hey Jess." She says while looking up from her phone, "So what store first?"
"Um Forever 21?" I ask and she nods her head. Then we make our way to the store. Ashley buys a couple of tops and a pair of shorts. I on the other hand only buy one top.
We walked around the mall and into a few stores for a while until Ashley's phone rang. "Hello?" She says into her phone. "Okay, yeah, okay." She continues to talk to the person on the other line. Once she hangs up she turns to me and says "Sorry Jess but I gotta go."
"It's fine. Thanks for coming."
"Sorry, bye." She says as she headed towards one if the doors.
I guess I could just look around some more. I think to myself. Just as I was about to walk into another store someone grabbed my arm and spun me around to face them.
"Hi Jessie." Niall said. "Sorry if I scared you."
I laughed lightly and said, "Oh it's fine I guess I'm just easily scared." This earned a laugh from him also.
"Can I join you?" He asked which made me cock my eyebrow at him.
"You want to come into a girl's store with me while I shop?"
"I sure do." He says while taking my wrist a guiding me into the store. Right after walking in Niall picked up a cute shirt and held it up for me to see.
"Hm I like it." I tell him and take the shirt from his hands. We looked around some more and I picked up a pair of shorts and another shirt. It was pretty fun actually shopping with Niall. We goofed around the whole time. I had my bags in my hand as we walked out.
"Well I guess I should be getting home." I tell him
"Yeah, you wouldn't want to have your parents worrying about you."
"Oh no I live alone." I tell him, "But you on the other hand" I say pointing at him, "need to get home before your bedtime."
He chuckled and says, "I don't have one miss, I live alone too."
I don't say anything else because I'm not really sure what to say. I always have that problem. Why can't I just-
"Jessie?" Niall asks breaking me from my thoughts.
"Yeah?"
" Well I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tomorrow night?" When I looked up at him I could tell he was slightly nervous.
"I'd love to." I answer him and he gives me a big grin.
I gave Niall my number and my address for him to pick me up tomorrow. Then I walked as fast as I could to my car. Once I got in I drove out of the parking lot and happily sang along to the radio. I was now very glad I came to the mall.
