Goddess Of Calamity

Chapter 1

My eyes were fixated on the half-phantom half-human. She was taking refuge in her human form.

"How could Yatty associate himself with a freak of nature like her?" I mutter.

"I don't know, how could a Goddess as strong as you fall for her regalia? These are things we don't know," Ryo laughs and I giggle, punching him in the gut.

"Sometimes you're lucky I-"

"Love me?"

"Need you to fight," I cock my eyebrow up and Ryo whines. A blonde regalia was standing next to the girl, in a conversation. "Wanna kill them?"

"Yep," Ryo smirks.

"Suki!" I yell and jump down from the building. When my feet drop down I catch their attention, the two's heads turning towards me. I smirk, grabbing the transformed Ryo in my hands. Their eyes wander my double sided scythe. "I can't believe it. You are even weaker up close. Why would Yatty talk to you weaklings?"

"Who are you?" the boy asks.

"Ditto," I glare.

"I'm Hiyori and this is Yukine." Hiyori bites her lip.

"Well, Hiyori and Yukine, I'm Akane and this is Suki and we're going to kill you," a smile spreads on my face, "Show you the consequences for your intolerable actions." I aim Suki towards Hiyori, out for blood. Yukine pushes the freak of nature out of the way, Suki slashing his back. Red ooze dripped from his back when he screamed out in pain.

"Yukine!" Hiyori cries out.

"What a beautiful cut? Hiyori, can you not agree with me how amazing my Suki is?" I say in all seriousness.

"You're insane! What have we ever done to you?" Hiyori yells.

"Oh, that's simple! Nothing!" my laugh booms through the streets.

"You're crazy!"

I giggle "I'm not crazy, I'm just doing my job."

"I-I'm okay, Hiyori," Yukine chokes.

"Aw, really? I was hoping you were dead." I pouted and got ready to attack. I rear Suki back but miss when Hiyori shifts to her phantom form, grabbing Yukine and jumping up to an electrical chord. They ran but I followed, cutting the post that held up the chords.

"Yato!" Hiyori yells.

"Call for him all you want! You should know by now all Yato does is let people down!" I laugh bitterly.

"What do I do?" I hear a familiar chuckle and my hearts stops.

Yato!

Instead of trying to fight any longer I run, unable to face the one who stabbed me in the back after all I did was care for him.

"Akane, we could've killed them!" Ryo says "Why are we running away?"

"I can't stand to look Yato in the face. After what he did to me I only want to see him after I've ruined his life. I want to see him cower before me and right as he's on the verge of death, I'm going to let him live through all the pain. I'll even . . . pity him," I laugh "That is when I'll be able to look him in the eyes."

"You're so dark . . . I love it," Ryo chuckles and I smile. I teleport out of the street and to a shrine for the night. It was going to be dangerous and I didn't want Ryo getting hurt.

I throw Suki into the air "Ryo." The second Ryo comes back he hugs me, planting soft kisses on my forehead. "What are you doing?"

"Akane, I've been a regalia long enough to know that when I'm sad for no reason it's actually you," Ryo whispers.
