Frisk kissed him lightly and smiled sweetly. He almost couldn't believe it, it was almost like a dream. To have Frisk there. Returning his love and everything... Her smile melting is heart. "I love you a skele ton." He said, cracking his pun. "I love you a skele ton too..."

"SANS GET UP! GOSH YOU LAZY BONES!" Sans opened his eyes and realized he had fallen asleep. The whole thing with him and Frisk kissing.... was a dream. With a groan his hands covered his face with one of the pillows on the couch. "Well damn..." he mumbled before peeking out at his brother. Papyrus removed the pillow from his brother's face. "Good dream?" Papyrus asked while his brother just nodded, his cheek bones a light blue.

"About what?" Papyrus asked, clearly interested in what the dream had to be about. Sans seemed off as he rubbed the back of his skull. "Do you ever dream about Mettaton?" Papyrus' face turn a soft orange before sitting on the couch. "I do, a lot honestly. I love him dearly." Holding his skull in his hands Sans seemed uneasy. Papyrus put a hand on his shoulder and chuckle. "Just tell whoever it is that you are having these... feelings instead of bottling it up. Remember what happen to me?"

Sans laughed, "Yeah bro, you wouldn't go and patrol for a week then you asked him on a date, him saying yes made you the happiest I have ever seen. I don't see that happening with me and Fri-" he stopped and looked down, weak cheesy grin spread across his face. Papyrus smiled and gave his brother an awkward one arm hugged. "Tell her before it's too late." Sans nodded as Frisk came in, clearly tired. "Sorry guys I was helping Mom clea-" she looked at Papyrus and Sans, having a brotherly moment. Frisk smirked and dropped her stuff before running over and tackle hug both the skeletons. "Family hug!" she said happily, as if she wanted nothing more than be around the two of them.

They all laughed and finally pulled away from the hug. Papyrus smiled at the other two. "I have a date with Mettaton tonight, why don't you two do something this evening?" They both turned red. "I-i... u-um...." Frisk was clearly nervous and Sans was no better. "We can go to Grillby's kid." He said smiling. "So it's not a date, right?" She asked, her mixed emotions clearly visible. Sans chuckled, rubbing the back of his skull, "It's whatever you want it to be kiddo." Once the egocentric skeleton was all set, he headed out to meet up with his date Mettaton.

Sans was in his bathroom, washing his face. It had been about an half an hour since he had seen Frisk. Maybe her nerves had kicked, crossed his mind as her saw himself in the mirror. How could she ever love a big boned skeleton like him? It was wishful thinking, it was never going to happen... Screams rang through the house. Running out of the the bathroom the oversize skeleton yelled out for Frisk ran out of breath. The young girl was asleep in her room, crying and screaming. It hit him hard in the gut, she was remembering the genocide timeline. Rushing over to her the skeleton tried to wake her up.

"Frisk, kiddo, wake up! I am here, you're safe!" Slipped from Sans' mouth. Frisk was crying and clung to him for dear life. He looked up and noticed the reset button had been smashed, there was no way to reset anymore. Laying down his friend, he walked over and looked at the broken reset then saw a note, he picked it up and read it with great caution.

Sans, I'm sorry

That's all it said, and he was confused. Glancing over at the crying girl, he notice the sleeves of her sweater had slid up. Cuts... cuts laid in a neat rolls were up and down her arms. He woke her finally. Brown eyes opened, peering at him. "S-sans...?" She asked and he smiled at her. "Hey Kiddo, get dress, it's time to head to Grillby's." Frisk shook her head. "L-let me calm down..." Sitting on the bed, Sans looked down at his hands. "Kiddo, why the cuts, why do that to yourself?" Tears brimmed her eyes. "I'm sorry I just... I was strong, I was determined, but.. after the lost I... I..." Breaking down, Sans' buddy was visibly depressed. "I just wanted to feel something besides the ones I have already." A glance was exchanged between the two. "I didn't want to upset anyone, and in return I still did."

Sans drew her into a warm embrace. "You can do this kiddo, you can do anything and I know that for a fact." Frisk clung to her skeleton friend. "I love you Sans, I hope you know that." He blushed and looked her in the eyes. "I love you too, but in a different way." They stared at each other, both completely fluster. "Can we talk about it at Grillby's?" The skeleton asked, with the human girl giving an approving nod.
