Dear Friend

It was my last day of school in Chester. I had just finished English and I was walking out the main doors to go home when I saw Dave sitting in his car waiting on  my. A cold chill ran through my body as I walked up to his car. "Hello harry" Dave said as he rolled down the window "hi". I never really spoke to Dave I just let him do what be had to do and then I would leave. " are you not getting in" he said harshly. I took a deep breath and said "I can't today Dave I have to go home and he'll mum move  things" I turned to walk away but I froze when I heard the car door slam. Dave walked around he car and grabed at my arm tight causing shooting pains so run up my left arm. He led me back to his car and we drove of to one of the old car parks he loved some much.

I sat in the passenger seat looking out the window trying to block out what happened only moments ago. Dave stoped the car around the corner from my house I got out  and quickly walked away hopping that that would be the lasted time I ever saw  Dave.

I got into the house to see my mum rushing around the kitchen putting different pots in different boxes. "Harry where have you been your half an hour late. The moving van gets here in five minutes and I still have to finish packing up the living room" "sorry mum" I started to help by  pulling out all the plates from the cubords and laying them out on the table. my mum just looked at me "just go and help your dad in the living room". I finished what I was doing and I left the room. "alright hazza" I turned on my heels to see Gemma standing at the top of the stairs, I ran up the stairs two at a time and wrapped my arms around her.

Gemma had been at university in London for the last 5 months and I have seen her once. I've never really had true friends I have kids my age that I talk to but I wouldn't really call them my friends. Gemma  has always been there for me  she is really the only person that I can talk to about anything and I took it really hard when she had to leave to go to London.

"why didn't you tell me you where coming back from London" I stepped back from her and I dropped my arms. "I wanted to surprise you, all of you". I just looked at her and I thought about she would do if I told her about Dave and everything that has happened in the last year and a half but I couldn't tell her. "what's wrong harry?" "oh nothing im fine "  "you sure" "yeah". I wasn't fine I was broken but I couldn't tell her that, I couldn't tell anyone. I quickly walked down the hall as I felt my eyes fill with water. I walked into my bedroom and I just sat on the ground with my back to the door and my head buried in my hands.

"Harry, come on harry. come help with the last couple boxes". I stood up and walked out my room and down stairs stopping to pick up a box from the hallway and then I walked out the house and down to the van where I placed the box on the ground by my dads feet and then I went in and repeated the same steps twice. as my dad loaded the last box into the van the four of us stood looking at the house, my mum as getting emotional thinking about all the memories she would be leaving behind in the house. "come on Anna" my dad placed his arm around her wasted and pulled her closer to him.

the four of us climbed into the van and my dad started to drive away from the house. I watched the house disappear as we drove away. when the house was out of site I felt free like a bird that had spent its whole life in a cage had finally been aloud to spared its wings and fly away.
