Your pov

You watch Grian untie Sam and Taurtis with a stern look. You didn't want it to come to this. Now you had to tell them. But now they can tell you what is up with them. You just hope they understand. These past few days, you've grown close to the boys and you don't want to lose their friendship or their trust.

For a while you all walk in silence back to the house. Taurtis seems shaken up by the experience and Sam stays with him to comfort him. Grian and you are left standing next to each other, so akward.
"I err..." Grian begins, you begin to stare at the floor "look (y/n), I'm sorry, I really am, it's just, I thought..." his voice trails off, he tries not to show it but was obviously beginning to well up.  This is weird, it's not every day you see a boy crying.
"I'm sorry too."
"...what?..."
"I shouldn't have run off like that... look, I'll explain everything when we're back at the house... after that we'll say nothing else of it..."
"Well it's a good job we're here then!" You are indeed back at the house.

Sam, Taurtis and Grian are sat on the black leather sofa opposite you, sat on a matching chair. Grian is staring at you blankly, Taurtis is still a little shaken, and Sam seems eager to know what's going on. You don't know where to start...
"Okay..." You sigh "I'm not quite sure how to say this... well here goes nothing." All three boys lean forward in their seats. "I work for swat!"
"WHAT!" Sam seems outraged
"I was given an assignment to watch over you guys, you being in witness protection and all..."
"So you knew" mumbles Taurtis
"Yes, and you weren't supposed to know.."
"So you've been playing us" Sam is  enraged with the situation
"Yes and no.."
"What do you mean yes and no?"  Questions Grian
"At first it was all for the job, but over time I've really come to like you guys..."
"Likely story.."
"Well thanks a lot Sam!" You start to get angry "If it wasn't for me you would be dead by now"
"It's you that man was looking for, you didn't have to be friends with us!" Grian points out
"Exactly, I chose to be friends with you guys, I could easily have joined kupa and stalked you if I wanted!"
"Kupa's stalking us!?" Exclaims Taurtis, you raise an eyebrow  questioningly and the other boys turn to stare at him. He sinks into his shirt. You continue talking
"Look guys, I still wanna be friends with all of you!"
"Well it's a little to late for that now isn't it..."
"Oh, SHUT UP Sam, if I hadn't been nice, you would either be dead or in prison by now!" He flinches at your words and turns away. "Please, at least tell me why you are in witness protection!?"
"Fine" Says Sam turning back to face you, and he explains it all

"It all started at our first school... we weren't exactly normal students, but to be honest no one was. Taurtis got a girlfriend named Salex, and they really liked each other. But one day we found out Salex had died in a car accident. We were never the same. Soon enough Grian came to school and we had a ton of good times. Soon enough it was the school dance and Grian went home to England for a bit. Me and Taurtis had a double date with this girl Yuki, and we didn't even like her all that much. I just wanted to annoy Taurtis by stealing his girlfriend. At the dance Taurtis dumped her, therefore I didn't need to date her anymore either. So I took her outside and explained the situation... She pulled a knife on me! Later after she had calmed down and gone home, the dance ended and I head home, alone. I was confronted by a man named Karu and told that I were to date Yuki or die... obviously I chose Yuki. For ages we were boyfriend and girlfriend and over time I grew to like her. Then Grian came back. Everything changed. Taurtis tried to drive him home, after I... stabbed him! And he crashed the bus. So i was left with Grian, while he was in the hospital. I kinda dressed grian up as him and went 'a little insane'"
"A little..." scoffs grian
"Anyway, I began to believe that Grian really was Taurtis and when we found the real Taurtis, I named him Jerry. We were then hired by the "Yakuza" a gang..."
"I've heard of them "you interrupt
"Well Yuki was the daughter of the Yakuza's leader, so even though I previously did a drugs bust against them, I was off the hook! The rel Taurtis eventually remembered his past, making me even more insane. Then we were hired by the local police/swat to infultrate the Yakuza. We ended up killing Yuki's father... and dressing Grian up as him. Then being given away by Paul Blart. So Yuki went on a murderous rampage and killed Paul our teacher, Rowan..."
"Swat Rowan?" You ask
"Yes, she also probably killed countless others, but we didn't know. She left me a note saying to bring her Grian or others would die. So we called Okami and Silly and..."
"Okami and Silly were the ones who gave me the assignment to protect you!"
"Wow" Sam is becoming annoyed by all the interruptions "carrying on we met Yuki on the roof of our school. Killed a ton of Yakuza. And Yuki jumped off the building and disappeared. So Okami put us in witness protection and sent us here. There are more Yakuza out there. And we need to stay safe." Sam ended the story and all three of the boys shivered after remembering their past.
"I propose that we don't dwell on the past and look at the future." You say trying to sound as formal as possible "I still remain your friend and protect you from whomever is a threat. But you must be honest and tell me more about this whole 'insane' incident." The boys look to each other and one by one shake your hand.
"I'll make this easier" Grian breaks the silence that comes after "(y/n), you're moving in with us!"
