I sit next to Crystal in history. "So, is it true, that you're from the human world?"
"Yeah." I say Sadly, knowing my time as a popular had come to and end.
"That is so cooooool! Tell us all about it!" Crystal says, the rest of our table group nodding.
"What, really?" I ask, surprised.
"Yes! Is it true that in the human world, there are no satyrs, or even nymphs?" Crystal asked excitedly, writing down what she already knew about the great Wolfpire war. (Vampires and wherewolves) I glanced at the paper, then passed it to the next kid, GoldenPoppy. I didn't know anything about that.
"There aren't any nymphs, but there are nudists, and I'm sure some of them are stupid."
"So there are nymphs!" Crystal cried, laughing. The whole table group laughed along, and we went on that way for the rest of the day. When I finally reachd the dorm room, I was ready to flop down on the bed and pass out, withought doing my homework, or practicing my magic or anything. I opened the door, and Eve looked up from her math's textbook. It bookmarked itself, and closed.
"What happened?"
"Not right now Eve. I'm exsaughsted. Crystal is sooo, anoyying, and it's almost impossible to put up with her."
"What?" Claudia asked.
"I don't care what it takes. I'm gonna be popular."
Claudia rolled her eyes, and Eve sadly reopened her book. I went into the bathroom, and figured out the code that would trigger the mechanism. I climbed into the mirror, and ducked my head, untill I was past the low ceiling. I decided to work on my inventors magic. I was going to try enchanting an arrow. I took a small arrow from the bunch I had made last night, and began to hum. I opened the book, and read the enchantment, carving a few small runes into the side of the arrow. I turn it counter clockwise three times, then carve the last rune. I feel the magic floWing from my veins. The silvery purple glow becomes bright, and gathers around the arrow. The magic begins to soak into the runes, but I feel it fizzle out before completion. I sigh, scratching out the runes and snapping the arrow in two with some difficulty. That was the fifth time I failed at the easiest spell in the books. I knew I had wasted a lot of magic on the spell, and made a mental note to ask my science teacher, about magic flow. Magic was the fifth element after all. I crawl out of the mirror, and exit the bathroom. "Why we're you in there so long?" "I was practicing my magic." Bluebell looks confused, but drops the subject. "Can I copy your history homework, Eve? Since I was born in the-" "No." "But-" "No. That's cheating." "Its okay Amber. You can copy mine." "Thank's. Mr. Pan- you know, the sayter history teacher?" Claudia nods. "Well Mr. Pan said that this was review, but since I've always lived in the human world until now, I haven't learned any of this." "I don't really care why you need to copy. I just like the idea of cheating." She hands me her homework, and I try my best to put it into my own words. "It's all wrong anyway." I hear Claudia say, as I drift off to sleep.
