-Author's note: This book was unpublished so I could polish it up and fix some plot holes. Some elements are changed. I do plan on continuing this story. Happy reading!-
/Stella/"Wake up, Luna!" I yell through the doorway of her bedroom.
Currently, I am waking up my youngest 'sister' (she's adopted, but I like to call her that) Luna Blaze, so we could go for our Saturday morning jog.
She has a small and compact structure. She has skin that resembles chocolate and has lavender hair. She convinced me to let her dye it because she was tired of 'that bland coal black' color.
Being the oldest sister in the family is a huge responsibility...
"Luna! Wake up!"
She pulls the blanket over her head and readjusts her position.
"Don't tell me you've been up all night, doing whatever you do!"
She still doesn't move a muscle.
"I guess I'll pick up Toby without you!"
That shoild do the trick.
"Don't you dare!" She yells, sending the blanket flying in the air, falling to reveal her coffee-brown face and her messy purple locks.
'Toby' is her poor boyfriend who also has to put up with her. She's so obsessed with him, it's a bit toxic.
She meanders out of bed, not even bothering to fix it.
I sigh. "Why don't you even try to fix your bed or your hair?", I question her.
"Nah, just don't feel like it." She yawns.
I shake my head in disgust.
I slump back on the hallway wall and yawn, waiting for her to finish her extensive morning routine.
Our middle sister, Estrella (Estre for short) is making breakfast.
She is rather tall. Her skin is a pale peach, her hair is wavy and a yellow-blonde color, and her eyes are a chilling blue. She was also adopted, when I was 16-
A sizzling sound interrupts my deep thoughts.
"Is that bacon?" Luna yells from the bathroom. She'll recognize that smell anywhere.
"No, it's fish!" Estre growls. She loves being sarcastic.
"Fish? I thought that was bacon! You're seriously twisted-"
"I was only being sarcastic. You know it's bacon!" She takes a deep breath and goes back to cooking.
These two argue a little too much.

/Toby's house/
'Welcome', the mat says. I wipe my new sneakers on it. Why do people even have these things?
"Hurry up!" Luna yells from the car, motioning me to ring the bell.
I reluctantly ring the doorbell to pick him up. Why isn't Luna doing this? She's his girlfriend anyways. She's really bad at this 'dating' thing.
The door creaks open slowly, almost nervously. Suddenly, Luna appears right beside me before this Toby person can even see us.
His face peeks out timidly. He has light brown hair and tan skin. He's wearing glasses and a blue t-shirt.
His face changes from a scared frown to a bright smile.
"Oh, you guys!" He exclaims enthusiastically. "I was waiting for you!"
"Sorry I was late, my alarm was off." Luna shrugs and runs the back of her neck.
"It was your fault..." I mumble under my breath.
"Did you say something?"
"No, I was just yawning", I say as I forcefully stifle a yawn.
"Hmph." She pouts.
"Alright Toby, let's go!" Luna almost drags him by the arm, down the steps, and into the seat beside her in the car.
Poor him. Why does she have to be like this?
I shove myself into the driver seat and turn the ignition on.
"Let's go to Lawrence Park!" Luna yells.
"But we originally scheduled going to-"
"I said Lawrence Park and that's final!" She cuts me off.
How petty of her to do that.

I pull into an entirely different park to see if Luna will get mad, but she doesn't. She's too busy showing Toby some unfunny video on her phone. I can tell that his smile is fake.
Estre climbs out the passenger seat beside me and looks at me with concern.
Somethings wrong.
I look back to see Luna giving Toby a tight hug as he tries to escape her grip and get out the car.
I look back at Estre.
She's crazy.
