"Oh, me?" He asks pleasantly. His smile compliments his face so well...

I could do this all day.

I can do this.

At least I think I can.

Just looking at him makes me blush.

I don't think I can.

(Gray's point of view)

I bet she doesn't know my secret.

I already know all about this innocent girl.

Well- she's older than that. Too old to be a girl, too young to be a woman.

More like a young adult.

Anyways, what she doesn't know is that I've met her before.

Before she changed.

In return, I changed, to get her back.

We used to be good friends. She knew my real name, but not my nickname. We would be very comfortable near each other. She wasn't afraid of me.

Eventually, I came to like her and asked her out.

She almost immediately said yes. It was like she was anticipating it.

We spent many nights together, doing fun things alone. It was just us.

Then there was that one night. It was the best night. But let's save the best for last.

The worst goes first.

My parents got promoted in their jobs and had to move to a different place. I lost contact with her for a few years.

Recently, my mom decided to get another degree, so we went back so she could attend the university that was there.

Lucky me, I transferred into Stella's school.

Unlucky me, she changed.

She ignored me and paid no mind to me. It was probably because of her new adopted sisters and their friends.

There was another girl. You already know her. Harmony. That was her nickname, who knows what her real name was. She became friends with me because she thought I was lonely.

I told her everything.

She started a plan. I was going to get Stella back.

We told her sisters, we planned things, and got to work.

And things happened. Now I am here.

Did I sit here on purpose?

Yes.

Do I have a crush oh her, like she thinks?

Definitely.

Does she love me back?

Who knows?

(Stella's point of view)

I can't stand it! Either way I'll turn red.

Why did I catch feelings so fast?

The young man at the end of the bench interrupts my thoughts with a statement.

"My name is Gray."

Oh.

Oh dear.

Was this on purpose?

Did Harmony just send me a guy out of nowhere because she knew I was lonely?

I better answer him.

"T-that's nice!" I stammer. "My name is Stella."

"Your name is pretty."

"Ah, uh, thanks!"

His cheeks turn a hint of pink.

Is he catching feelings too?

This...

This is interesting.

I might as well give it a try.
