First day of school

Once I realised that I was standing there, starring through space when I'm suppose to be running, I shook & adjust my head. I checked my phone and well.... You guessed it
I was late! Wow just. wow

I started running. When I saw the gates to the school grounds       It was closed.
Ugh!      Well the good thing is that I didn't bother wearing my best clothes because of the incident this morning.    Lucky!

I made sure that I had my phone tucked in the safe corner of my bag so it doesn't break. Then I threw my bag on the other side of the gate, to make my life easier when climbing.

What she's gonna climb the gate!?  arr ma gawd!!!   ...yeah okey

After I successfully climbed the gate. *I jumped down, *ran to find my bag, and *checked my phone. Phew! It didn't break!
Oh yeah!!...
Wait I'm suppose to be the new kid here.. And when new kids arrive to a new school, they're supposedly came early so they have a good impression to their classmates.
Wait says who?... Well that didn't turn out that way did it.

Right! I'm here standing in font of the door of my classroom.
Well here goes nothing....
*opens door

"ahh Miss Marelle, what a great way to start at a new school."
Um sir I know that bit of detail, you don't need to rub it on me.
A fake smile was plastered on my face as I walk into the room.

"I'm Mr Don Evens, I'll let you off just because it's your first day and you can sit in the spear seat next to Jack over there."
I nodded with thanks and I headed straight to my seat.

When I settled in, my eye was caught on the guy next to me. Um..who was it..Jack?
Jack... Jack... As my brain finally ticked on.
I whispered "pssssst!  Jack! Jack!"
"its me from last years football game! Axel Marelle"

He turned his head around...... And that's when I know I made a huge mistake!
"yeah.....

Excuse me do I know you?"

It was the wrong guy! OMGAWD could this day get any worse?.

"Um never-mind,  are you Jack Mathews cuz you don't look like it?"
"Yes,  duh"
"What?!" *whisper shout
*turns around and makes a OMG surprised face
He doesn't look anything like the guy I met in the football game

He started laughing quietly while I just sat there looking like a dork out of place.
Not to offend any dorks out there

"I'm just kidding. Jack Mathews is in the classroom next door. I'm Jack Dean your soon to be friend request" he smirked and turned back to the teacher.

I just slouched back in to my seat figuring out what just happened in my life.
First my unplanned morning routine that included my brothers, then my late arrival which I had to climb the gate and now this!

The bell rang for lunch and when I was about to walk to the cafeteria but instead I met up with my long time best friend Rachael Miller. She was the daughter of my mum's best friend that help took care of me and my brothers. So Rachael and I are basically sisters. 

"Hey Rachael good to finally see you" 

"good to see you to" 

we both hugged and catch up on things I missed out about school. 

"hey what sport club are you gonna choose?"  squealing with excitement.

 "I don't know... maybe basketball?"

Her faced turn from excitement to blank " well good luck"

we walked in to the cafeteria together. and sat on unseated table.

"why"

"well its because I herd that the coach is tough and you have to really show them what you've got"

Hearing those words gives excitement to my eyes! Why? because I love basketball, I was even in the championship last year at the AGBC (All Girls Basketball Club) and my dad was the coach of the team.

"Don't worry I'll show'em"

While I was stuffing my books in my locker Jack D was standing there wait for me. I got confused so I raised my eyebrow saying "okeyyy..." and started speed walking to the tryouts.

He kept on following me and people started whispering when they saw me. I couldn't take it anymore so I turned around...

*BOOM we crashed heads, 

"ow! why did you do that for?!" i said trying to rub my head in pain.

"Well you're the one who turned around" he said also rubbing his head in pain.

" Wow! You got a hard head for a girl" checking if he has blood or anything on in his head.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

"Jeez.. thanks and why are you following me anyway?  Its really creepy ya know"

"ugh please.. every would be dying to be with me" gesturing his confidence with his hands.

"why" I asked with confusion. Is he popular or something?

" Well its because I'm the new  youngest recruit to your brother's band and the lead singer"

"oooo.... well clearly I"m not dying to be with you, and you're the one that's being a creep" I said realizing I'm supposed to be in the tryouts. I started running and he called out

"check out the band sometime! okey!"

I kept running and put my hand in an "okey" sign.
