"We're here..."
The seasons changed the colours of the only place that felt familiar to us.
The park itself had changed. They renewed some slides, bars and added toys that at first I could not figure out its purpose.
"Come!"
I ran to the red swing, now rusty, and sat on the right bank as usual. He leaned against the iron that held the banks.
The image seemed wrong.
While everything around us was different, coming back to this place was like "coming home" for us... but the air was colder this time, and the seat next to me was empty.
I started winning swing.
As the distance between my feet and the ground increased, the feeling of comfort that I craved, was simply not there.
"Hey Tae-"
My eyes stared the empty seat that did not move oppositely to mine.
I moved my head towards the rusty iron.
V's laugh was no longer echoing through the park, now surrounded by building as high as the distance that seemed to exist between us.
The seasons changed the feelings of the only place where "us" seemed familiar.
