I catch up to Piper and Phillip who is shaking his head no.

"You cannot do that again!" He shouts, his voice echoing outside. "When did you even leave!"

"When you two were admiring a dress."

"Ugh, you should never walk alone here when there are no classes."

"And why?" I snap back to him, Phillip turning around. He walks up to Piper and I who are trailing behind him. Piper has fear in her eyes as she takes a step away from us.

Phillip walks up to me, stopping when we are inches away, my breath hitching. My heart starts to rumble through my chest, anxiety filling up my body. A hint of red runs past his eyes like in a threatening way.

"Reason number one, don't you forget that you are in a different world? Where you are the prey to hundreds of vampires!" I feel a break of sweat forming on the line of my forehead. I need to be strong.

"This whole place is fenced up." I gesture around us, through acres of land, there is a fence guarding the buildings.

"But it doesn't stop vampires climbing over to feast on warm blood from teenagers. We have had hundreds of accidents in the past." I cross my arms, the fear in my body getting shaken off.

"Okay, but I didn't get eaten."

"But if you are alone, it is very dangerous to get caught up with a vampire. They want nothing more but to hear your cries. The begging when they feed on you, drink your blood. They enjoy the cries of young people in their ears, it makes it much more exciting."

"Wow, vampires only drink blood." I sarcastically say, rolling my eyes while Phillip stares at me.

Suddenly, that frown on his face slowly turns into a smirk, a long devilish one. Piper calls his name but he doesn't listen, only taking a step closer to me.

"Oh really? That pretty little head of yours-" I take a step back but he lightly smacks my hat upward, flipping it off my head. He curls his hand into a fist, knocking the top of my head to the point where it gets annoying. I bite my bottom lip, smacking his arm away from me. "-does not know a thing about vampires. We crave and drive."

His eyes become full into a crimson red, my mind turning to mush. I don't know what to do but take steps back and let Phillip daringly get closer to me.

"We are the symbol of strength... desire for everything. Lusting for blood and sex. We get whatever we want whenever we want it." A yelp escapes my throat when he grabs me, an open mouth smirk over his lips. I start to shake, finally seeing the fear of people when they see real life fangs.

They are pearly white in his mouth, wondering how in hell do his canine teeth get so long and sharp. I can't move from his grip and he brings his head down to my accessed neck.

"Don't you wonder why it's not smart to wear a open chest tank top in this world?" He asks me, I'm hoping that he doesn't go on. I feel his hot breath on my skin, you think it would feel daringly sexy but I was freaking out. I shake beneath him when I feel his fangs graze on my skin to the base of my throat.

"It drives a vampire crazy, they crave you more. Eyeing you till the point they can't take it and crave you. Knowing how mouthwatering it will be when they taste you on the tip of their tongue-"

"STOP!" Someone screams and Phillip quickly pulls away. He bits his bottom lip, his eyes and teeth going back to normal. Like how a normal human is suppose to look like. He groans, turning around to face Piper with a tear-stained face and Fiona next to her.

I'm so stunned that I can't move, my arms against my sides and my mouth quivering with fear. What the fuck just happen?

"What did I tell you about doing stupid stuff!" Fiona screams at him while I finally move. I grab my hat that is on the ground and I run my fingers along my neck. Slowly reaching Piper who is shaking, I rub her back, soothing her.

"Sorry Fiona, I just flipped off."

"You shouldn't be sorry to me. You should be sorry to our student." She barks back and Phillip sighs, stuffing his hands in his front jean pockets.

"I'm sorry Adeline. Another reason, if you provoke a vampire... Stuff will happen like now." A smile appears on his lips until he vanishes from our vision. I blink, looking around our presence but no one is near.

"Adeline and Piper, dears please. I'll take you back to your rooms." Piper wipes her eyes while we turn to head back to the building.

"Hey it happened, it's over." I say to Piper who still looks stunned from earlier. She is wrapped up on her bed, her glasses hanging on the tip of her nose.

"I'm sorry, I just didn't know what to do."

"You did the right thing." I reply back to her with a smile. She glances up to me, her cheeks red and eyes puffy.

"You think?"

"Yes, you ran to get help."

"I just thought if I tried to get in-between you guys, he would attack one of us."

"Well he didn't."

"Phillip is a jerk. I thought I was going to like him." I laugh, getting up from sitting on her bed and going on mine. I lean my back against the wall, facing across from Piper.

"No, he does seem like a cool guy. Maybe every vampire is like that."

"Like what?" She turns to me, curiosity in her large brown eyes.

"I don't know, maybe they get angry easily. He did say to don't provoke a vampire. And hell yeah I'm going to take his words for granted." I chuckle at my own comment meanwhile Piper grins.

"I hope the boys aren't like that."

"Hey when we first meet them, they are human. Maybe they have a human side in them." Piper sniffles, running a used tissue that has been in her hand for a while across her nose.

"Yeah you're right. I just want to go home." I look away from her, watching the foggy sun set behind the trees.

"I do too." I whisper.

Some action going on!!!
