Lock Down In Paradise

The dwelling day !

Ahh , it's finally summer vacation! I can calm down and stop worrying about due dates and pretty much all things school related ! I walked home from school with my best friend katiana . I can't believe that next year would be our junior year! This year was a tough one but somehow we managed . We arrived at my house and we kicked off our shoes , dropped our bags and threw a Ellio's pizza in the toaster oven and ate it once it cooked . We then Played music for hours on end and drove my parents nuts until my friend had to leave . It felt great getting to sleep in again ! No disturbance and it was very peaceful! The following week came and a huge heat wave struck us ! I got out the hose from my basement and attached it to the faucet outside and put ice cold water in the pool along with the massive water rafts that I put in there . Shortly after it filled I sat outside with a nice drink of strawberry kiwi crystal light with my favorite band blaring with my speakers in the background. My mom had just left for work as well with my dad my twin brother was inside still sleeping not caring what time it was , and katiana came running up the drive way and jumped in the pool . She turned to me and said " damn it's cold , but it feels better than getting burned alive !!! " I couldn't help but laugh . That night she had dinner with my family and I , we all went out to papa Gino's and it was a very nice outing . The next week later , we took a trip to the beach , you could smell the salty air , feel the both dry and moist sand under your feet , seagulls flying over our heads and the wind blowing enough for a nice summer breeze. We ate lunch on the beach and watched the waves crash the shore and family's bond around us. We then went for a nice long swim before returning home . Once I returned home I logged onto Facebook to see that One More Girl ( my favorite band) was doing a east coast tour for the first time !!! I was so thrilled and called katiana up and started to plan accordingly after getting the approval of both parents to purchase tickets for the meet and greet and concert. I bought 2 tickets one for me , and one for my friend ! I was in for more of a surprise when I found out it was on my birthday! Only 10 days left !
