In the rain,
we let go our tears,
so people would not know,
that we are actually crying.
In the rain,
we scream without fear,
so people would not hear,
that we are actually breaking.
In the rain
is where
tough people like us,
put off our mask
show all the secrets
that we have been hiding,
hope for the heavy downpour
wash away all the aches
that have been breeding,
and find everything
start to make sense
with peace,
solace offering.
Just in the rain.
