Chapter one:
The one with the invitationsAshton's hand hovered over me as his hips pressed me against the cold metal of the lockers, our mouths intertwining with one another.
I breathed heavily as my hands held his neck.
Suddenly I felt him pulled away from me. I opened my eyes, my daze leaving almost immediately. "What the fuck, Ross?" Ash said.
"You're whipped, man. Plus you'll be late to practice, come on." He responded as his biceps flexed through his jersey as he swipped off imaginary dust from Ash's shoulders.
"Okay." Ash leaned down to press a gentle peck on my lips before starting to walk away. "Text you later, k?" I winked at him.
"Hey, your girl there doesn't wanna come watch the practice?" Ross walked backwards as he turned to me and pointed, unexpectedly.
"Pass." I yelled turning back to the parking lot to wait for my dad.

"Laura!" Someone called when I got out of the passenger seat of the car, arriving home. I looked around to find a tall boy looking staright at me.
"Hey, Ryland. How are you?" I asked. I knew all of Ross's brothers in consequense to my relationship with Ash.
That was how much of Ross I had to endure in my life.
"I'm good, yeah. So, you're my neighbor now!" He commented surprise.
"Guess so..." I smiled.
"Rydel asks about you sometimes. I'll tell her you moved in next door. I think she'll be excited!" He politely said.
"Thank you! That'd be nice." I answer.
"Well, good seeing you!"
"You too." I said.

My smiled couldn't be contained. I danced around glad I was done studying as I enjoyed the sound stereo my dad me.
I took of my shirt as I started to sweat and kept jumping up and down.
I thought I heard someone call for me so I lowered the sound and listened to my surroundings careful.
Someone laughing histerically caught my attention."What the fuck, pervert?" I scremed at Ross when I caught on his window.
"Oh, please, keep going. I never knew Ash's girlfriend had a little nice ass." He kept om chuckling as he commented on my body like I wasn't here.
"I have a name." I said before noticing a blonde girl that stood shy behind him.
"Yeah, sure. Look, me and my friend here are trying to relax and your Rage is against the Machine is disturbing so, lower it, yes?" He said as my knuckles turned white from annoyence.
"You know them?" My eyes widened in surprise before shaking my head. "That's not the point. Look I took your advice."
"What advice?" He asked, trully looking clueless.
I clicked the button for the automatic blinds to shut down and smiling fakely to him I left the room.

"So more then confirmed, I checked with Tina, Em South and Ross are an item." Roxy gushed with Maia.
"Explain to me why this is worth talking about?" I asked over to them overly bored. I literally just got to school and they been the whole ride here mentioning stuff like this.
"Of course you don't care! You get a VIP inside look at Ross's glamourous life." Maia pushed and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Inside look? Why? Because I live next to him?" I asked as we walked down the hall to the lockers.
"No, because you date his best frien- wait? You are his neighbour?" Maia freaked out, her face passing through inexplicable expressions. "Why did you never tell me?"
I facepalmed myself. "He mostly brings that girl home, smokes pot with his brother and listens to good music." I replied showing that it wasn't that interesting of a life. "Really good actually, I was impressed." I commented more to myself getting distracted.
"So it's settled, your house is our new hang out place." Roxy chanted and Maia nodded with a creepy smile rested upon her lips.
"No way! I have to study." I said before my eyes caught glimpse of someone who normally would not direct a word at me.
Her walk towards us was taunting and in sync with her cheer leader buddies, like a scene taken from a movie, with their hair flowing in the air.
"Laura! I'm glad I found you." Natasha said, her white teeth shinning through her suspisciously fake smile.
"Humm, hey?" I spoke unsure of what to say.
"I want to invite you to my birthday party this Friday! Here is your invitation." She handed me a soft pink envelope right at the moment I furrowed my eyebrows before taking into my hands.
"Okay, thanks, I guess." I said, constructing the plan to get away from this one. Was she trying to screw me over again?
"Don't be so surprised! You date Ashton Woods! You are part of the popular crowd, despite your unlucky choice of companions." A girl that stood next to Nat South commented.
"So, can I count with your presence? Ashton will be there!!" She reinforced.
"You should totally go, Laurs." Roxy spoke out of the blue although all of them not even spared a glance at her.
"Sure, why not?" I replied smiling fakely.
