TRISTAN GREW UP TO BE A HUGE HEARTTHROB WHILE ELLIE REMAINED A MERE SHADOW, AND SOMEHOW SHE WAS OKAY WITH THAT.

many girls would come to where she usually ate lunch and ask her about tristan. one of them being ana, a shy and nerdy type of girl, but she didn't ask about tristan's looks nor did she ask about his favorite things. instead, she asked ellie if she could accompany her to tristan's house for their pair project. ana told ellie that tristan had invited her in to finish it but didn't leave his address. ellie agreed to do so and soon enough, they hit it off. she got a new friend, all because of tristan.

but, a lot more things had happened all because of tristan.

like a first kiss, maybe?

one afternoon during lunch time, tristan came to sit with ellie and ana. the trio became close friends, but of course, tristan and ellie were closer. they were inseparable, joined at the hip as usual. a train of girls followed him and surrounded their table to which tristan replied with a groan. they asked many questions which annoyed not just ellie, but tristan and ana as well for it was quite obvious with their facial expressions.

"tristan, what's your favorite color?"

"are you free tonight?"

"hey, my brother rented new games from the store, want to go play with me?"

"trissy, what's your favorite food? i'm learning how too cook and maybe i can cook it for you if you'd go out with me."

"is cadbury your favorite chocolate? i have lots of home! can you please come over?"

tristan was tired. he didn't want to be surrounded by more than half of the female population in his grade everywhere he went. even when he went to the toilets, the girls would wait outside the door! he wanted all of them to go away and just continue with their lives.

tristan had an idea as he looked over to ana then to ellie. he was sure that this certain action would make all the girls go away. since tristan was sat beside ellie, he took her hand and stood up. she, too, stood up but was confused. many questions arose as tristan held both of her hands and stood in front of her. she wanted so bad to ask him what the heck he was doing, but her train of thoughts were interrupted.

she was cut off not by words, but with a kiss.

her eyes were wide open while tristan's were closed. she could hear the screams and shrieks of the girls around her as tristan's lips touched hers. she was shocked by his action, there was no doubt in that. he pulled away, opened his eyes and saw a beautiful girl right in front of him, his best friend. he noticed the light freckles spread across her cheeks which he never noticed. of course he wouldn't, they never gotten this close to each other. ellie looked down with a faint blush on her cheeks and tristan fought the urge to kiss her again. she felt butterflies in her stomach, no, she felt an entire zoo in her stomach. the lions were roaring and the monkeys were going crazy over bananas. little did she know that tristan felt the same too.

it was not only her first kiss, but his too.

tristan looked to ana who was sitting down in her respective seat, her mouth forming an o. he then looked at the girls around him who were now silenced by the kiss. their questions were left hanging just like that. one girl looked like she was about to cry. that same girl grabbed an apple from a random table and threw it to ellie.

of course, ellie wasn't aware. she was too caught up in her thoughts of tristan. what was going to happen after that? she soon felt the impact of the apple on the side of her head and fell back. tristan had no choice but to try and catch her. he thought that ellie was light but she never failed to surprise him. ellie was a girl with a lot of muscle. tristan fell back when he tried to get a good grip of her waist and landed on top of her.

his lips?

well, they landed back on hers. needless to say that he got what he wanted.
