PeterWell, Veronica and I have been getting closer, these past few weeks. She sometimes let her facade of happiness slip and she would quickly cover it up. I wanted to help her but how am I to help when I have no idea what is bothering her.
Once, I caught her in the hills just sobbing her heart out and she almost choked on her own tears. I ran towards her and hugged the sadness out of her. It broke me every time I saw her tears stained cheeks.
I never asked what was the cause of her misery and she never told me her problems. We were just there in our Neverland, under the stars, comforting each other.
Maybe that has been, what she needed, a trip to neverland. A road trip to his hell but her heaven. In order to save her, he needed to face hell. He thought of this plan and decided on asking her on the hill tonight. Hopefully, he wouldn't chicken out.
During class.......
Peter: Hey Veronica!!
Veronica: hays are for horses
Peter: You can keep your smart remarks for later. I have something exciting to tell you.
Veronica: What is it, Peter!?!?!?!
Peter: Patience, Grasshopper...
Veronica: Fine!!!! I'll be in the library then, see you later, Peter.
Peter: You rhymed Ronnie!?!?
Veronica: Idiot?!??
Peter was going to take her there, no matter what. She would enjoy it as much as I do. That place was my Neverland before. It would be a 2 hour drive but it will be worth it. Seeing the smile that lights up the skies and make even the stars jealous, would be like having a glimpse of the heaven itself.
