Stars you are the only one that can calm my nerves today. This was the stupidest thing I have came out with?!?? She would definitely say no. You know what, Screw it. I am asking her today.
School Finished so they both head for the hills. Not one word was exchanged. Peter was nervous to hell. Veronica was trying her best to give him some space. She couldn't take the tension, so she broke it first.
Veronica: Peter.......
Peter: Need a moment Ver.....
Veronica: Peter...... Just wanted to tell you, I am here for you okay.
Peter: Thanks, Veronica........ And by the way you are physically here right now so how can you not be here?
Veronica: idiot of all idiots!!!!
Peter: so....... I wanted to take you somewhere........ I......erm.......
Veronica: Breath Peter. And I would love to go..... Anywhere you would take me. Let's go then..... What are we doing sitting here!!!
Peter: You.....want to... Come.... With me?!?!
Veronica: Peter O am beginning to think you are not only annoying friend but a deaf one too.
Peter: I'm still your bestie!!!
Veronica: Yes you are!! And who says Bestie even?!?? Idiot!
Peter: You know you are one heck of a girl!!
Veronica: That I do!!!
They both went for a drive. Peter decided to drive using his mother's car. So off they went to a trip. After two hours of drive. They went inside a forest hiding or some sort. Veronica was asking questions after questions. He listened to her talk about her interest, hobbies, dislikes and her favorite things. The drive seemed so short for them. When they were together, time seems to speed up just for these two. They finally arrived and walked to a cliff. Veronica noticed Peter had a worrying look.
Veronica: Are you alright Peter?
Peter: I shouldn't have taken you here.
Veronica: Peter, the view is amazing.... I like it, in fact it's beautiful and.....
Peter: My brother died here, Ver. That is why?!??
Veronica: I don't know what to say..... But I know what you feel.....I .....
Peter: It's so hard, Ver.....My brother willingly jumped off a cliff. He commuted suicide.....
Veronica: When you saw me cry on that hill, it was because three of the best people that I know and love died. All because of a drunk driver. I was angry, sad and most of all lonely..... I never wanted anything to do with past, so I became this depressed girl you see today.
Peter: Ver..... You didn't have to tell me... I know that something had hurt you to the point you were giving up. That is all it took for me to help you get through it and I didn't need a single explanation for that..... Let's go see the firefly shall we!?!?
Veronica: We are going to watch fireflies?!?! Peter you are the best human being?!?!
Peter: You are the most beautiful girl in my eyes.....
Veronica: Stop the staring, Peter?!?!
Peter looked away and he tried hiding his face since he was literally blushing. Veronica noticed it and made fun of him when Something caught Veronica's eye. It was like a tiny light but it was blinking. Peter has been staring at her and she hadn't noticed. She was in her own world and he was watching his whole world...
