Chapter 5.

"And what if I refuse to?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he watched Liam closely.

"You don't get to refuse, but if my some way, you don't do it, you're left with the blood of thousands more on your hands. Now, you wouldn't want that, would you Zayn?" Liam asked, smirking slightly as he turned away from the smaller male.

"What is the looking glass?" Zayn asked after several minutes of silence due to the thoughts racing around his head.

"Common form of transportation, also allows us to see into the other side, any other questions?" He asked, shoving a small dagger into a pouch as he placed it into the knapsack he was packing.

"Several, actually, but something tells me it's pointless asking." Zayn replied, as Liam let out a small chuckle, shaking his head as he continued to pack the bag.

"Learning fast, good job," Liam said, as he stood up straight, tossing the bag at Zayn who caught it, stumbling backwards slightly. "Off we go to the training room, you need to be able to at least somewhat defend yourself. Although, something tells me you can from the way you drove that opener into my arm."

Zayn blushed brightly, following behind Liam as he started to walk off, taking several turns as he walked through the corridors.

"It was self defense, I'm not a fighter or a killer." He said softly, focusing on memorizing each turn in case he found the need to escape.

"We'll just see about that, won't we," Liam replied with a laugh, pushing open the door to a large room with dirt floors. "Alright Zayn, here comes your first training session, rule number one." He started as he gripped his dagger tightly.

"Always be prepared." He said, lunging at the boy.
