Calum
The moment I left that coffee shop, I was aware that I regretted it. Our management had to make up errands for our upcoming tour. First of all we didn't have a vocal coach, a mentor at the moment. That was something that we never thought about, but of course our management wanted the best for us.
Having a queasy feeling when I entered our flat, Michael was playing around again with his xbox, Luke was consumed by talking to his girlfriend, and there was Ashton. Sitting impatiently on the couch, I have to be ready, I was certain and aware that I would be hearing a long lecture from him.
"Calum, you finally came here", Ashton bro fisted me, he looked cheery enough for me to have second thoughts regarding to my lecture. Stacking a pile of papers at the side, clearing things up. I headed to my room in the luck of him not calling my name.
"Calum"
Now I was too late from what I stated, doubting to open my door his face surprised me causing me to almost fall. "There Calum I wanted to discuss things with you, shall we start?", He crossed his arms and I knew that this was something serious, he does that manner seldom only if it was particularly needed.
"Sure", I shifted from my position closing my door
We both sat on my bed, his eyes scanning my body weirdly. "Calum, I need your help", He whispered as if someone can hear our conversation. A sigh of relief came from my mouth.
"Why?"
"Because we are having a deadline for our album, I was not pretty aware of it at first, but they called and we need to release a new single", Ashton talked throughly
It bothered me, this scenario never happened before our management never asked us for it. Because all about our music went with a part that we write songs if we felt it, we have inspirations, ideas and etc. How things escalated from last year was big. We grew more attention, fans, and responsibilities. I dreamt about having this kind of life, but now I'm doubting about our success, what If I left for a normal life again?.
We're all normal people the only difference is that we had a spotlight shining upon us. We had attention, we don't have any privacies left if there was it was a minimal amount too, my personal life was fed up. But these fans were keeping me strong, us stronger and tight.
"Calum were you listening to me?", Ashton snapped out my thoughts. "Uh what?", I asked
"Well you were preoccupied, let me guess you just met some chick today?", he asked
I nodded my head my cheeks beat-red, my nerves tensed, gulping my own saliva. "I was right so tell me about her", He crossed his arms again adjusting his position in a more comfortable one.
"You see, she's all sweet and chill"
"And?"
"And she has a good taste of music, she plays instruments, she graduated with a music degree not long ago, she's an asian yet she speaks english fluently, and lastly i'm confused about her", I finished with my breath panting already.
"She sounds great, I want to meet her soon", He stated looking forward to it. "She doesn't even know that I'm Calum Hood, well I never bothered telling her about my work", I mumbled softly the idea of her rushing again.
"That must be hard, and If she's kind she'll accept that", Ashton patted my shoulders exiting my room, leaving me in shock.
Fixing up myself opening my phone, tons of notifications bombarded. The media caught pictures of me and Angel, she looked genuinely happy with me, and my face was grinning to her, we looked like a couple -all lovey dovey one. My heart beat started to rise, I found myself tightening my fists, beads of sweat forming on my forehead. She made me feel this way all of a sudden by just seeing her picture.
