It's the next day of school and Jess and Charlie have been texting non stop all over the weekend and have been trying to see each other as much as possible. 'Jess Charlie is here to walk to school with you'.
'Ok mum I'm just brushing my teeth I'll be down in a minute.'
'Morning Jess have you got any good lessons today?'
'No not really I have PE, science, media, history and maths today'
'That's a horrid day at least I'm in your science although I don't understand a word our teacher says'
'Neither do I. Well we better be off bye mum'
'Bye darling.'
The door closes. Charlie turns around to Jess, stares at her for a while, smiles and grabs hold of her hand whilst pulling Jess closer to her. 'Charlie I don't want to hide that I'm gay to the school but I don't really know what to do'
' you don't do anything babe you just let them see and figure it out'
' is it hard'
' it's only hard of your not ready and if your not ready then you shouldn't keep it a secret for a bit longer.'
' Thanks Charlie I am ready for people to know it's just I don't want people taking the piss'
'Nah they won't take the piss I won't let them'
'Thanks gorgeous'
