Chapter 2 Our Little Things

 I hope you guys like my next chapter .... it mostly tells about Limo, my best friend.

It was then august.

Limo was a big fan of Jennifer Lopez and Kate Winslet. He really loved them especially Kate Winslet. Well I never found anything special in Kate Winslet but I really liked Leonardo de Caprio. Many famous personalities like Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Danielle Craig, Sean Connery, Leonardo de Caprio and even Kate Winslet have visited my house. I still remember that day, my dad had organised a get together with all the famous personalities, actually it wasn’t a get together, it was actually a professional get together. They all had to come around six or seven in the evening. I was wearing shorts, my favourite hoodie and green flipflops. Actually I wanted to wear something formal but my parents said that there was no need for me to wear something formal.

Limo as usual came to my house. Every Saturday night he used to come to my house for dinner. Though he used to come to my house everyday but Saturday’s were special.

Limo was wearing a white t-shirt, layered with green checked shirt and blue denim jeans with sports shoes. He was even wearing the bleu de chanel fragrance, I really loved that fragrance. I am really amazed that I remember all this about him.

Whenever Limo got ready for any party, he used to come to me and ask “ how do I look Lily, don’t you think I look amazing”. He knew how he was looking but still he used to ask me. Boys!!!!!

He was so excited to meet Kate Winslet that he was practicing in front of the mirror as to how and what he would say to her, he was even talking to himself.

Rose aunt and Limo’s dad were both out of town.

That day was really amazing, I was really happy and Limo had gone crazy. He was smiling the whole night looking at Kate Winslet’s autographed photo.

Those days were amazing.

There were many more things which we loved to do together. Like, every morning whether school days or holidays, we used to get up at 5 am and run 2 miles, up the hill then take a round of the park above and then down the hill. It was a good exercise. By 6:00 am we used to return and then around 7:00 we used to leave for our school.

These little things later become a special memory.

So as he used to Say “Enjoy every small moment of your life and nevertheless life is what you make it”. So why not enjoy today and stop thinking about tomorrow.

There were many such little things that we did together, which I loved and today when I think about it, those memories bring a smile on my face.

One such incident was – everyday from five to six in the evening, he used to go to the Beverly hills community centre while I used to go to the Beverly hills ballet school. I started learning dance from the age of four and have learned many types of dances from hip hop to salsa and contemporary to tap dance. At that time I was learning ballet. Everyday he used to wait for me, outside my dance school, my class used to end ten – fifteen minutes late because we had to change our camisoles and wear casuals. We were not allowed to wear camisole’s outside the school. I used to go back home with him and on our way we used to talk about what we did that day. Thinking about all this that he was just a normal, common guy, I never thought that one day he would become so famous…….
