"Would you stop it! What is you problem? She told you you guys  were through and you just never accepted it! Can't you find someone else!?! Oh wait I forgot. No one else would date you. Sorry Char. It's for your own good. And by the way, get a life." I said breathlessly. And I grabbed Char on my way out. Once we were in ten hallway, I turned to her.
"This is not okay. You need to tell someone." I whispered.
"Char, I know it's hard but your going to have to if you want it to get better. Oh and by the way, I'm Chloe, Emily's roommate."
"Hi, nice to meet you. I can't. I can't tell anyone. They will all laugh and seriously. I'm 20 years old. I can do this on my own. But thanks for your help."
"Char, I know it's hard, but if you don't tell, we are going to have to." I said, kind of already regretting it.
"No, please don't. I get that I need to tell, but what do I say, and who do I go to?" Char cried.
"Char, please don't cry. You go to the social worker, or, I mean it's college. There are tons of professors teaching human affairs, and physiology. Go to them!" Chloe said
"Okay. I'll see you guys later. I'm going to go to Professor Delmar.
"Ok. Good luck." Chloe and I said.
Well, I thought, I did what I had to do. And I did it well. I talked to my professor of the class I missed and he said that this is the best late excuse he's ever heard so... I really don't know what that means but whatever. That's not what matters now. I was surprised that Teddy would go this far after what happened earlier. I mean seriously. He needs some help. Maybe he shouldn't go around doing this to his exes. Get a life is all I could say. Why doesn't he care about college? I wondered. And then I realized that I was the only one who could help him. I used to not care about college. But now look at me. I've been doing great and have been getting good grades. So I needed to talk to him.
"Chloe, I have one more order of business before we go." I turned towards Chloe.
"Emily! It's 3:00 and I still haven't eaten!" She whined
"I need to talk to Teddy. I'm the only one who can help him. I will be right back." I said, all in one breath.
I ran up to his dorm as fast as I possibly could. I was out of breath by he time I finally got up to his dorm. I knocked on the door.
"Teddy? I said. It's Emily. We need to talk."
"Who the hell is Emily?" He questioned, and I almost cracked up.
"The girl who screamed at you like, 5 minutes ago." I laughed
He opened the door.
"I hate you. But I will talk to you since I think it's an apology."
This time I actually cracked up out loud.
"Hahahahahahahahahahaha hell no I'm not giving you an apology! I came to talk to you about your lack of care about college."
"That is none of your freaking business and get the hell out of he-"
"Wait. Teddy, if you don't start taking college seriously, you might not have a life. I get that you are just a junior, but you need to step up. Dreams won't work unless you do (That's my favorite quote from John C. Maxwell). It's time you start trying." I said, a little loudly.
"Get out. This is none of your business and you have no right to question and make me change my lifestyle. And I thought you were the party animal, so who are you to say anything or judge me?" Teddy said. And with that, she shoved me out and shut the door in my face. And locked it.
