You woke up with the loud sound of your alarm clock and quickly got dressed, but for some reason you were happier than yesterday. Was it because of Nick or the fact that you might get employed? You tried to ignore your thoughts and put your uniform.
Wait! You suddenly stop and ask yourself. Where am I supposed to meet them, I never got the chance to even ask them where! You start talk to yourself with anger, because of your careless mistake although you hardly ever do this. Next thing you know you were talking pretty loud enough for other people to hear through the walls but you didn't care.
"How can I be so stupid?!" You said. " I got so distracted by how Nick was so cute and kind that I didn't even- you stopped because of a knock you herd on your door. In confusion you slowly walked to door and opened it.
"Good morning!" Nick says with a smile and you soon start to get worried. "O-oh um hi Nick! Sorry I didn't know you were coming here." Oh no I should be the one saying sorry for just coming here without your concern I just thought maybe you might get a little lost finding me, and well Judy will be meeting us shortly here." He states. "Oh no it's alright I'm actually happy you're here!" You say.
Nick suddenly says," Thank you." You reply, " For what?" Nick smirked and said," For calling me cute and kind." You started turning really red and looked down trying to hide your embarrassment. "S-sorry you had to hear t-that." you say trying not to stutter a lot. "No don't apologize, it's actually really nice hearing that especially when it came from you."Nick started blushing a little until you realized how cute he looked when he blushed and then without thinking, you gave him a hug like you never gave anyone. Nick also hugged you tightly it was a really tight warm hug that made you feel like you never can leave his arms. "Nick, I- " you were soon cut off by Judy who barely came and shouted, " Hey guys!"
U departed from Nick and said," Oh hi Judy." Nick suddenly looks at you and asks, " Was there something you needed to tell me?" You quickly responded "No it wasn't important," but you actually wanted to tell Nick your feelings about him. You saw Nick have a face that looked like he didn't really believe you were saying the truth, but then you said," Trust me." With that he nodded and Judy said," I hope I'm not interrupting anything but we should really get going."
"Yeah alright let me just get my badge" you say and run off to your room and quickly pin your badge to your uniform.
"Ready!" You shout and soon all 3 of you start heading off to Zootopia's Police Station where Judy and Nick worked.
As usual there were crowds of animals on the streets and it took about half an hour to get to the police station. "Well here we are!" Judy said. You saw it and felt like you belonged here as if you can already see yourself working here alongside with Nick and Judy, but you mainly cared about working with Nick.
Judy and Nick led you to chief Bogo's office for your enrollment. When you saw chief Bogo you were now terrified, because of his serious scary face that made you worry that you wouldn't qualify for this job. It was time for Judy and Nick to leave you for your discussion with Chief Bogo. Before entering his office, Nick said to you," Good Luck, although I'm sure you won't need it." He winked at you and you smiled at him and said, "Thank you." And soon you walked into his office. Chief Bogo glances at your badge and says," Hello officer (Y/N) (L/N). "Hello." you respond. So I'm here for- Chief Bogo cut you off and said," Yes I know why you are here Nick told me about you looking for a job and asked me if you can join them on their investigation, but Officer Judy looked like she didn't agree with him but of course that's none of my business just letting you know in case you have any problems with her. You start wondering why Judy was acting like that but at the same time, you were now thinking about Nick on how he was always nice to you, until Chief Bogo interrupts you and says," That's if you are suitable for this position and I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions. You simply nod at him hoping it will turn out well.
{Moments later}
Thank you officer (Y/N) I'll let you know tomorrow just come by my office. "Ok, thank you," you respond. You see Nick waiting for you patiently while sitting on a bench. Nick asks," So how did it go?" "Well I think rather well but tomorrow I'll see if I passed or not." "I'm sure you will pass," Nick says and gave you a look that brought back your confidence. You smile and cross your fingers and say," I sure hope so."
Nick starts laughing and said,"How cute."
You weren't that embarrassed anymore because you were starting to get more comfortable being around Nick and you began to laugh with him and thought how childish that was of you.
"Well I should be heading home now." You say and give Nick a goodbye hug. "Goodbye (Y/N)." See ya tomorrow.
With that the day ends. Only waiting anxiously for the results.
