We stood there for a few more minutes until Luke placed his hand on my chin to lift my head, he looked at me with a worried look plastered all over his face. His memorising blue eyes looked directly into mine before raising his hand and gently wiped the tears away from my dark brown eyes.
I wasn't used to being treat like this and I definitely wasn't being used to being treat like this by Luke, he's one of the least people I would imagine that I would be standing here with now, I guess he's an angel at heart.
Although Luke was friends with my
bullies, I didn't hate him. He has never done anything to hurt or upset me, it's always been Ash, Calum or Mikey to do that so I really didn't have a reason to dislike him.
"Are you okay Beth? What's happened?" He said as he placed his hand on my shoulder and the other to fix his beautiful blonde hair.
I looked him directly into the eyes trying my best not to break down again, I managed to reply in a shaky voice "I really don't want to talk about it Luke, I just need to find somewhere to stay tonight as I can't go home."
"Why can't you go home? I know we don't talk but you can trust me."
"Luke I don't want to talk about it. Plus if I was to tell you something you'd probably run off and tell Ash and the rest of the boys just so they'd have something else to bully me about"
"Beth I'm not like them, I've never done anything to hurt you and I wouldn't want to. I've tried to tell them all to stop before but they never listen to me."
"I really don't care about that at this moment in time, I need to go and find somewhere to stay the night."
As I was about to walk off into the darkness of the street he grabbed my hand and spun me around so I was facing him again, I looked at him with a confused look, why was he being so nice to me all of a sudden? He's never spoke to me before why now? I asked myself.
"Okay I understand you don't want to tell me anything and I totally understand, but you can stay at mine if you want to? My mum won't mind."
"Urm.. Are you sure?" I asked as I slowly turned around to see if he was definitely talking to me. "What about your dad? Would he mind?"
His face dropped and his eyes filled with water, he quickly wiped his noise and looked back up at me "I never really see my dad anymore, my mum said he was a threat to us."
"Oh I-I'm so sorry Luke I didn't know"
"It's fine Beth don't worry about it, are you coming back to mine? Like you don't have to but if you did then at least I'm there to cheer you up because seeing you this down is kinda upsetting to see."
I looked at him and gave me a small smile before agreeing to his thoughtful offer.

While walking to his house we didn't really talk but when we did it was just about school and nothing interesting, he also gave me his leather jacket to wear as he seen i was cold. Right now I felt Luke was the only one that cared about me.
Around 10 minutes later we both turned to look at this huge house with marble pillows outside and heavy black metal gates guarding the house. I turned to look at him but he was looking the other way about to type in a code into something on the wall. The huge heavy metal gates quietly creaked and slowly opened.
"Is this your house?" I questioned while slowly stepping past the gates and onto a stone pathway.
"Urm yeah aha and you don't mind sharing a bed do you? I mean I would give you the spare room but my mum has used it to put all her wine in there.."
I looked around trying to think of something to say in return to his question. Luke Hemmings has just asked me to share a bed with him, anyone normal person would be able to answer that straight and not leave him waiting for a reply but I was a socially awkward teen that had never shared a bed with anyone expect for my mum.
"Beth?"
" i-urm yeah of course I mean yeah I don't mind sharing a bed." Oh god I have just made this more awkward than it already was what was I doing with my life.
He looked at me and gave me a small nod and smiled at me before saying "Good and none of the lights are on so I presume my mum is in bed so we'll have to be quiet when we go in okay?"
"Okay." I quickly replied before following him up to the house. He grabbed his key out of his pocket and unlocked the door, he gently opened it making sure it wouldn't creak and wake his mum.
He slowly walked in and I followed him before closing the door trying to be as quiet as I could. As I turned around to look at my new surroundings as I was suddenly greeted by a dog, I bent down onto my knees to stroke it and let it know I wasn't an intruder.
"That's Molly" Luke whispered with a small grin on his face.
"Aw that's a cute name for a cute dog, how old is she?"
"To be honest with you I really have no idea but anyway we really need to be getting to bed before my mum hears us" he said as he quickly grabbed my hand and lead me upstairs before I even got the chance to say goodbye to Molly.
Luke slowly opened his bedroom door and the first thing I noticed as I stepped in is a corner full of guitars, was he a musician and no one knew? I turned around to face Luke only to be greeted in the face with a black shirt.
"Here put that on, you'll be comfier in that than what you're wearing."
"You could have warned me first Luke and turn around while I put this on and no peeping."
I turned to face the wall and took my black trousers of and tossed them into the corner of the room then quickly put on his black shirt which read 'Good Charlotte' I never knew he was into these kind of bands I thought he was into pop if I had to be honest. "You can turn around now"

We stayed up a while talking about any random things before Luke eventually said Goodnight, he turned to face the wall with his bare back to me as he slowly drifted off. I lay there a while thinking to myself before falling asleep.
For once I fell asleep feeling happy.
