I bite my lip, arriving to school 10 minutes late. It's 8:30 now and the hallways are crowded- too crowded. I slowly walked to my locker; my head down as I try to attract as less attention to myself as possible.
I quickly looked up to see if anyway was in my path and that's when I see them. The four boys who have made my life a living hell since I was 10.
Ashton, Michael, Calum and Luke, the school bullies. They hated me and I hated them. Especially because I had been bullied by them most of my life.
As I looked up to get my chemistry book out on my locker I peered over my shoulder to find myself looking into Ashton's hazel eyes, he was so intimidating. I immediately looked away as I noticed them walking towards me.
I quickly buried my head into my locker hoping they wouldn't notice me, especially ash. He was kinda the group leader, Michael and Calum just followed him around but they were bullies aswell as Ashton. Luke seemed like the quiet one, he didn't really say anything to anyone, he was the only one out of that group that didn't bully me.
Suddenly I felt someone tap my left shoulder as I turned around to see who was there someone had took something out of my locker, it was Ashton. He had took my pink flowery purse.
"Aw isn't this cute" Ashton smirked looking at me with his adorable hazel eyes. Yes, I said adorable, just because he bullies me doesn't mean I can't call him adorable.
"Give it me back ash!" I screamed looking him dead in the eyes as if to say 'you asshole!' He looked across his shoulder causing Michael and Calum to laugh at the situation, Luke just stood in the corner with his head down trying to ignore what was going on. "It has my lunch money in it! I need it back"
"Well me and the boys need money for our lunch so this looks like it will be enough" Ashton chuckled as he reached in to my pink purse and took all my money. Did he not understand how much I actually ate at school? I needed that money I can't starve I'll end up going insane.
"My parents gave me that money, that's the only way I'll be able to eat while I'm at school" I looked at him with an upset expression painted on my face. I only eat at school, my parents never make me food at home they're always busy either arguing, fighting or working.
"Boo hoo you can survive 6 hours without no food, it won't kill you Beth"
Ashton looked at me with an amused look making me look away to see if anyone of my friends where around for backup but I couldn't see anyone.
"Seriously I can't survive without food, I need my money back" I sighed. I just wanted to go to class I was already 15 minutes late now. I was already dreading the idea of walking into class Infront of everyone and before I could say anything else Ashton and the rest of his group quickly scurried down the hall with my lunch money tightly gripped in Ashton's hand.
"Thanks babe" Ashton shouted at the top of his voice as he gave me a smirk before turning right at the end of the hall way.
"See you in English babe" Michael also shouted quickly looking at ash as if he wasn't allowed to speak without he permission. he followed the rest of the boys into the other hallway. They were probably all skipping class as always.
Luke glanced at me raising his left hand and gave me a small wave goodbye I quickly did the same before he vanished into another hallway leaving me all on my own holding my pink purse with no money.
I looked at my watch to now realise I was 25 minutes late to my maths class, I really didn't want to go but I had to even though I had no one in there I guess I just had to face the embarrassment of walking in late.

As I made my way to the cafeteria I bumped into my best friend, well my only friend, Mia. I told her everything that had happened this morning explaining every detail.
I also told her I didn't have money for food and how I couldn't survive 6 hours without any food, trying my best to sound upset so she would offer to buy me some.
"I have some extra money, I'll buy you lunch Beth" Mia said with a friendly grin on her face as she handed me a few dollars so I wouldn't starve to death. Words couldn't describe how glad I was I had a friend like her.
"Thankyou Mia, I promise to pay you back tomorrow" I said as I pulled her towards me into a tight hug to let her know how grateful I was for this money.
The bell rang to remind us to go to our next lesson. I quickly said goodbye to Mia as I walked to my next lesson, I had English with Michael, how fun. I only had 2 more lesson then I was free from this jail for the night.

As the clock struck 3pm the school bell rang and everyone shot up from there seats and rushed out of the door into the parking lot.
I pushed my way through everyone eventually getting outside the heavy school doors. just as I thought this day couldn't get any worse someone behind me pushed my back causing me to trip over and land on my front. I turned around to see Calum standing above me along with Ashton and Michael. Luke yet again was standing to the side with his head down.
The boys laughed at me not bothering to help me up. Calum then said "Thanks for the money, bring the same amount tomorrow babe?"
I ignored him quickly jumping to my feet and running off hoping they wouldn't run after me.
My life was a living hell.
